The video link a couple pages back that covered the conversation system and hacking is really worth a look if you haven’t seen it yet. I dig what they’re trying to do with the dialogue and I hope that it’s as varied and interesting as it sounds. Anticipation meter is into the red at this point.
Same here. This cannot possibly end well.
A Radeon HD 5750 w/1GB ram. My CPU is a, I dunno, an almost 6 year old 2 core Intel job w/4GB ram running Windows 7. It still plays games pretty well (currently playing JC2 and TrackMania 2) but the demo was sluggish enough to give me pause and stick with the 360 version.
Oh hell yea.
Fixed.
I have no faith in the quality of this title as a worthy Deus Ex successor unless Tom trashes it.

Thanks - I was just hoping my HD5670 would be enough for a modest 1280 (hell, I could make do with 1024 if need be).
EDIT: Damn you Angrycoder :( Well this article is good enough to post twice, so I’ll leave it here.
RPS has a “Wot I Think” (from John Walker):
A quote:
“It’s an extraordinary relief. Like that moment when your shoulders finally slide down into the hot bathwater, you physically and mentally relax in the knowledge that you’re back to that place. Remember when first-person games were complex, multifarious, and had a quicksave? Remember Thief, Deus Ex, Bloodlines? It’s that place, that brain-massaging, hair-stroking safe place of excellence that it was getting hard to remember ever really happened.”
What is really funny is how we both picked the same quote.
I just passed a saving throw against preordering this from Amazon along with the new router I have to buy. You people need to stop encouraging me to spend money on games that I probably won’t find time to play before it hits $40 anyway. If I can go the rest of the week without needing anything else from Amazon, hopefully I’ll be safe.

He won’t be doing a review, since he did an internal one for Eidos, but he mentioned he thinks “we” might like it

I just broke down and pre-ordered it from Amazon.
I’m amazed that I can “pre-order” it, less than 24 hours before it comes out, and have it delivered to me tomorrow, for $0.99 shipping.
You get a $10 Amazon credit and pre-order goodies!
A buddy of mine pre-ordered that garbage fest Brink, and actually made a PROFIT on it by selling the pre-order code on ebay, and then selling the game back to Gamestop, after all the various discounts and crap kicked in. Was kind of nuts.
Agreed. It’s a really good quote, though.
Omg all this STEALTH talk in the reviews, has me drooling.
I completed the game without firing a bullet. Let alone killing anyone.
I am doing at least 2 play throughs, one all stealth, and the other bad ass terminator style.
