No, but PC games generally have to implement interfaces that could support gameplay that is more complex than 2-3 buttons mushing. D3 was intentionally kept simplified so it could work with consoles, and it showed even if you just compare it to D2. Now, you can say similar things about entire Diablo franchise, but it was most prominent in D3.
This is not a bad thing, D3 will make great PS4 title since it was clearly designed with it in mind. Blizzard just happen to release it on PC first.
Explain how Diablo 2 wasn’t simple enough for PC, but Diablo 3 is, since right now it’s obvious that Diablo 3 is going to have to make changes to interface in order to be playable on console.
Whether you love diablo 3, or (like me) think it was merely average and disappointing, we surely can all agree that a lot of the people who had any interest in diablo 3 already bought it long ago, right?
Sure, but there is still a huge market that only has consoles, that can be reached now. And of course, a ton of people will purchase it again for the console.
I’ll probably buy it again despite owning it on PC. In fact, my wife is interested too … we’ve already bought it twice and will probably get a third version to play on the couch. Love that Diablo!
If offline mode is added to the PC version, its nice and Ok. If a consoletoy gets offline, and the PC version not, its war. WAR. Pick your torch and forks, people.
The font is too large (or the ui too small). This don’t look Diablo enough, too man sans-serif font text. The icons are not iconic enough…eeerrh… not diablo-iconic enough. Also the whole screen is brown as shit. Thrown some fires from hell or something to make it prettier.
Fine by me. but text in english is usally shorten than in other languages. If Perfect Square Ruby (20) already wrap in english, you can only imagine where it will end in something like german…
