Try Act 1, Forgotten Crypt (Lady Dunhildles bones or whatever is great) and Festering Woods. Woods are great, as even if the bounty there doesn’t include a ghost, they do have a good chance to spawn in the zone anyway.

Correct. That’s how it works on the console. There is no adventure mode on the console yet. After getting to 60 on HC with no expansion news my wife and I went back to the PC. No official news on the expansion but since the PS4 bundle comes out around November I would expect the expansion to release to 360 soon after.

Apparently the way in which this was implemented was that in order to prevent follower death, they programmed it so that the follower takes no damage at all. This results in someone with 2 Unity rings and a follower token that prevents death having a permanent 50% damage reduction. Whether or not this is a bug remains to be seen, it’s debated quite hotly in the Blizzard forums.

Yes, my friend uses this combo.

Not sure if it will be retroactive…but it’s due in the next patch to fix this: https://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/12329613352?page=9#164

Apparently broken for 2 years.

Yeah, a lot of the folks who brag about doing T6 are only able to because of this “feature” of the Unity legendary. Sounds like a bug/unintended consequence to me. It certainly works far more effectively that the text would indicate.

I have to say, 6 packs of enemies mostly rocking combinations of jailer/waller/vortex/arcane right at the start of a level isn’t so much a rift as it is Blizzard telling me to go fuck myself.

The theme of this rift seems to be incredibly dense packs with at least two forms of crowd control. I have never died so often in this game; if I were playing HC I would have just left when I saw the first pull.

Game glitched out tonight. Zoned into fight Diablo and I got Izual instead but with no interface or health/mana, just the action buttons. Killed him and he dropped plans for Staff of Herding.

That happened to my friend the other day too; had you killed Izual/Diablo on that character previously? Our suspicion was that it might be tied to never having killed him before on that particular character.

Or, it’s just screwed up.

So, is the online match making broken, or is no one in America playing public games at non-max levels? I have been leveling up a Crusader at “only” expert level 58 and despite turning my game public and occasionally trying to join another game, I have never had someone join my game (that wasn’t a friend) and I have never matched against another game.

Matchmaking will only put you in a game at the same character level and difficulty. No one really plays on Expert, plus it’s not common to find someone at exact levels pre-70. If you’re going through the story, add in the requirement to be on the same act/quest. I’ve matched before, but it was extremely rare before I hit level cap.

I just leveled my hated monk to 70 to gamble on cindercoats. I had no problems matching adventure games. Story is fairly unlikely.

Already killed him before in both adventure and campaign. It’s a glitch because map let me zone “back” to izual map earlier but walled off fighting him from the back door.

Where is the option for “Extremly interested in second expansion for Diablo II”?

…yeah, yeah I know.

8 hours for no patch? Oh Blizzard…

Blizzard downtime is insane.

Just got kicked while about to finish my 5th bounty of a set. Awesome 8 hour maintenance results, assclowns.

Yep, I was at 98% in a rift. Sad…

Indeed. i can’t even log on to battle.net now. I get stuck in a login queue to battle.net itself.

If they are going to insist on having a game with single-player mode be online, they need to compensate us for lost frag keys, legs on the ground, horadric caches, etc. It’s really disappointing to have extremely limited game time and lose 20-30 minutes of progress after an all-day server maintenance.

What happens to HC toons that die due to Blizzard failure?
