What happens to HC toons that die due to Blizzard failure?

They… they’re OK, man. They moved to a nice family in Florida, where it’s always warm. They miss you, but that other family had a little boy who needed a friend even more than you. They’re OK. Who wants ice cream?

Even with my gimped weapon enchants, I’m still able to zip through a whole act’s worth of bounties on Torment 1 in 15-20 minutes. Wasn’t even farming for and lucked out on a RROG tonight. Also proceeded to log off without getting my Horadric cache on the next act :/

Also for DHs, if you Vault with Action Shot and Danetta’s Hatred, you can basically offensively Vault back and forth through groups of monsters simultaneously stunning them and doing 75% weapon damage with 4 arrows. Good on elites too.

This morning I was disconnecting like crazy. How is it even possible for them to be so bad at this? They’ve been running multiplayer servers for over 15 years and it’s still like some shoestring budget startup when it comes to IT.

At least it seemed like a brief problem this time.

Usually it’s a scale problem. They routinely get blocked or slowed down by ISP’s here because of traffic volumes…

(There was an idiotic peering problem in the UK as well (not Blizz’s fault, I’d add) where it had to re-route via slooow paths for like 2 weeks last month…)

Wife is in AU and I am still in HK. We play on the American servers (because if we are going to have obnoxious global chat I at-least want to understand it). Our ping from HK sits at or below 150ms for Diablo, WoW etc pretty consistently. Which is very good for Asia. We got similar numbers from Tokyo. I asked my wife to check her ping before we played for the first time last night, since we play HC I wanted to make sure it wasn’t going to be insta-death for her character … 35ms… that’s insane!

Is that what US players enjoy normally as well?

OK this is ridiculous: all DH pets out at once. 2 ferrets, bat, spider and 3 wolves. Plus the Templar. Plus 5 sentries.

You have my build I want to play. Well I want a Cindershot so I use Frost Arrow and Impale as a spender but otherwise what I wanted to try. The whole Cluster Arrow spam has gotten really boring so I gone back to the three wolves.

Not all. I live on the East Coast, pings in game are typically 120-150. Granted we’re saddled with a 3rd rate ISP (Metrocast) but anything West Coast is usually in that vicinity. (We also have a terrible time with anything Sony related, be it back when we played EQ2 or PS3 updates.)

Apparently. It’s not like they have a client which could gather basic connection data. Or, heck, have a “submit connection report” button in it’s diagnostics. Nah.

While this could be totally different, when you consider that they recently had an issue with their ISP that they blamed on customers for a couple weeks using the almost exact same form as a delaying tactic, before fixing it themselves, i don’t give them the benefit of the doubt these days.

On a related note, I am done crafting. If you are going to charge me multiple brimstones AND rare crafting materials to create an item, it should have consistent stats. I hate getting an item at level 70 in which a level 5 wouldn’t even benefit from.

Well, my problem with crafting is that I have a stash full of legendary crafting materials that I don’t have, and never really expect to have, the plans for. I think I have 11 Adventurer’s Journals. Oh, and the plans I do find are for things that require “Mystical Source”, which apparently is near impossible to get.
