The cooldown timer and fetish counter are enough for me. Do want!

Yes, using this mod is absolutely bannable unless they specifically say otherwise. That’s why I didn’t even post the name of the mod, so people wouldn’t be tempted.

The album you linked, however, has no qualms about sharing its name.

Oh yeah, there it is at the bottom.

Just say no, kids!

Still… (Alive)… Old… Friend…

HC Crusader, Paragon 32. Poked my head into Master mode, almost had it lopped off. Saved by Julia’s Cameo, one of the few decent drops I’ve had lately. I could open up a discount jewelry store with all the crappy rings and amulets I’ve had drop,

I am pushing into Master for a shot at free imperial gems, which given my financial state and the hate RNGeebus has for me at the moment seems like the best path to improve toughness and DPS.

I can probably handle Act 1&2 bounties for now, but it’s going to be a slow grind. That said, I love these little transitional moments in HC.

Installed the mod yesterday, it was really nice to use it, to see my actual dps when fighting. (all it does is ready memory on your computer and display the information on your screen).

I’m kind of tempted to do the same too honestly, but since i have 90% got tired of diablo 3, maybe i won’t take the trouble.

Morally i see nothing wrong with using this (which does not mean it is not something that can get you banned if they catch you somehow). It doesn’t appear to have any cheats or give any unfair advantages based on the screenshots (although i didn’t look in to it too much so i admit that i could have missed something). I see it as no different than using an interface mod in WoW.

Almost all of these changes should have been in diablo 3’s UI from the start.

Damn, I hope I’m not responsible for your being banned.

If it was half a year ago when i was still playing the game a lot, i would have been really tempted. I also don’t think there is much chance of them banning you.

Now though, i’m tired of diablo 3, not helped by my friend who i was playing with a lot taking to botting (which in my opinion makes no sense since if you replace the loot grind with botting you have nothing left) instead of actually playing.

It is a very impressive mod though, even more so watching videos of it.

There’s a 100% chance of them banning you. It might not happen immediately, but if you actively use the mod you will be banned eventually. Expect it.

Regardless of banning or not, it gather some nice statistics.

From an earlier session of playing Adventure mode.

It automatically takes a screenshot when you reach a paragon level as well, so you can celebrate :)

Anyone have a rare-level caster amulet they can part with? My enchantress follower is still using a level 50 one.

Wish they’d let us play true single-player so we could use mods. I don’t understand why you can’t? There’s no competition in this game, unlike WoW.

Indeed.

In the past they sort of had a point because the auction house and trading stuff, but now you basically cannot affect other players at all. The auction house was removed and absolutely everything worth a damn is account bound. There are also no competition related mechanics.

Can someone add me to the QT3 guild? Battle.net name is teletrong1.

Yes, they told me the same about AFK Macroing in Ultima Online.

Yea, had great experiences in Diablo 1 and 2 with various mods and hacks. Introduced me to a new world of item duping and playerkilling (Diablo 1 Closed Beta), Online hacking and SoftIce Debugging(Diablo 1 RTM), Savegame Editing, International team/project work (we were 6 people from across Europe and a coder in the US making a great Savegame Editor for D2), Reverse-Engineering (Diablo 2).

Also had fun playing the first game, not so much the second. :)

Really see no reason for them to ban you now that RTM etc is down. But in a way it would be nice if they did, as it would (finally) stop me from playing WOW (and/or) Diablo so I could spend time on other things :)

Being banned for AFK Macroing in UO only happened if someone (your neighbors usually) reported you from my experience. Luckily we owned a huge area so it wasn’t an issue :)

I need some advice on gear. Maybe I’m not understanding the math, but wouldn’t my fire-based cluster arrow demon hunter be better off equipping a leg amulet with 20% fire damage that gives me -15% paper dps (the other has cc and chd)? If all of my skills are fire, I’m still gaining 5%, right? Or would the fact that I would crit more (at 50%) with more crit damage (at 450%) outweigh the fire damage, and loss of 9.5% cc and 84% chd (the leg ammy has no cc or chd, but I can roll one on)?

So:

Kymbo’s Gold
20% fire
700 dex
8% resource cost (nice for CA build)
life on hit
no special affix

or

rare ammy
579 dex (re-rolled)
572 vit
crit hit 9.5%
crit damage 84%

I would re-roll life on hit for cc or chd on leg ammy obviously

Local gameplay would also be nice for avoiding the stupid network lag / rubber-banding. Some days it just isn’t worth playing the PC version because of this…

Diego

I would have through anything that can roll cc or chd, should have main stat, cc and chd as a preference over just about any other affix? Crits still rule the roost and your bonus fire should be on all other gear.
