Doing a full group with torment 6 (assuming you can clear it quickly and efficiently) would be more than 4x as fast as solo on T2, even assuming equal clear-times, which the 4 t6 players are almost certainly faster. Still, with the way the exp is curved, the total amount required from 999-1000 is probably roughly the same as 1-200 or something absurd. Just to put things in perspective.

Isn’t that patch just updating it to what the console version releases with? I’m too lazy to go read through everything but that seems to be one of the major whines on the forums right now about how the console versions released with the new patch while the PC version has to wait a week.

No, not according the chat they released today. 2.1 will be on PC first (“by the end of the month”…rumor is that it’ll drop on Tuesday maintenance), and PS4 and XB1 soon after. What “soon” means is not defined.
