A few folks here at my house had characters sort of “twinked” through the Malthiel battle on the PS4 so we could play adventure mode together. But now it looks like they might be ineligible to play the harder difficulty levels, oddly enough. I think one of the pre-Torment difficulty levels says you have to finish Act IV. Gah.

FYI, Blizzard, Riot, Path of Exile, and now Sony are being smacked by hackers who’ve taken each of those entities offline for an amount of time. Sony/PSN currently down and being hit the worst.

Seasons come with patch 2.1. Probably in the next 2-3 weeks. Patch 2.1 is huge.
2.1 is huge. And very fun. They said two days ago they are still aiming for this month, which leaves Tuesday night/Wednesday morning maintenance as the time they are most likely to implement it. For PC at least. It probably won’t roll out simultaneously for PC and consoles.

Are they even doing ladders on consoles? I wouldn’t think so with the ability to have hacked/duped gear and offline characters. I suppose they could have you make online ladder only characters.

They clearly said that PS4 and Xbone would get Diablo patches. They didn’t specifically note any features that would be coming to consoles-- console has some minor stuff that PCs don’t, like mailing legendaries to friends, monsters who killed you attacking your friends, etc.

It’s official, patch 1.2.1 goes live tomorrow at 1:00PM Pacific, just saw it on the Battle.net launcher main screen.
Who in the clan is coming back? I’ve been off Diablo III for awhile, but I think I might pop back to try a bit of Ladder mode. Or at least a Greater Rift or 2.
I’ll be back. The PTR ruined the main game for me, such that I quit playing waiting for the patch.

The patch can be pre-downloaded now by firing up your client. Access to actually playing it still restricted until 1 PM PDT (probably later)
There is one in the Europes.
Probably a much bigger one in Americas.

How big are we talking here, in terms of bytes? I’m paying by the GB for the next few weeks.
