Well teh latest patch is in and changes to Blood Shard costs are big.

75 for a weapon, 25 for Armor, 50 for a ring and 100 for an amulet.

Apparently they have changed the drop rate for chances of getting a legendary drop.

If the drop rates were significantly increased then I welcome that choice. I don’t know why but my drop rates on belts at her were abysmal. I got maybe 1 legendary/set per 1000-1500 shards, everything else was blue/yellow.

Woah. So much for gambling for Mirrorball. And all I’ve got to show for it is two Triumvirates (which I guess would be good with an Elemental Exposure build?)

Not at all, they increased legendary droprates correspondingly. You’ll get the same number of legendaries per X shards, but you won’t need to run back and forth to the blacksmith so often. You will get less yellow crafting materials, so I guess that’s a slight nerf, but who cares about that?

Also, they reduced the enchanting price for jewelry to cost an imperial gem rather than a flawless imperial, which is a huge improvement.

Apparently they greatly increased the amount of crafting materials rift bosses drop to compensate for the loss of materials from Kadala.

The increase in Legendary items from Kadala is greater than the increase in Blood Shard costs. It’s at a nice round number: The chance to get a legendary from Kadala is now 10%.

Another great change in the new patch: the cost of enchanting jewelry was changed from a Flawless Imperial gem to an Imperial gem, which makes it easier to reroll to get a socket. That should increase the number of players who can get sockets on all 3 pieces of jewelry, to try out more Legendary gems.

Anecdotally, the legendary rate from Kadala is actually better despite the increased shard cost. I’ve only spent about 2k shards today, but it feels like I’ve gotten more legendaries out of her than normal, especially since I’ve been rolling 2handers for 75 each.

Just spent 500 shards on belts, not a single unique. So, end result is pretty much the same as before for me :.

It’s a 10% chance. Your 500 shards bought 20 separate 10% chances. Cumulatively, you had an 88% chance of getting a legendary. So you hit the 12% remainder. Unlikely, but nowhere near impossible.

Yeah, I don’t know. I was getting significantly less unique/set belts from her compared to other slots even before the patch. Maybe because of my class (barb) which adds the mighty belts to the pool, who knows.

I want a mighty belt, but she refuses to give me the right one :P. I’m now at roughly 10k shards spent and 6-7 belts (pre-patch) that I got from her.

So I guess I’m gonna be that guy that jumps into the end of a thread without reading the whole thing. Here goes.

Does my wizardess ever change out of her bikini underwear outfit? I now have armor, boots, a helmet, I think even pants. But she still looks exactly the same. Does nothing change the appearance of the characters?

Because, not to bring up a trope, but she looks pretty ridiculous in her loungewear.

Have you unlocked the enchantress yet, she can transmogrify stuff, eg make it look like other items you have picked up before meaning there are loads of different looks.

Also have you un ticked the perv mode button so she actually wears more clothes, you know objectifying women as sexual objects is a no no these days

To add I spend ages getting my look right as I unlock more looks, especially on weapons

I got one last night too! My Wizard would’ve killed for this months ago; now it’s kind of whatever.

Scroll down to the bottom of http://us.battle.net/d3/en/class/wizard/. That fits pretty closely with my recollection of what my wizard ended up wearing. It gets more covered pretty quickly. The Enchantress also becomes increasingly more covered.
