I had no idea you COULD mute them. Done and done! No more “You dare attack ME?”
Can you mute your own character too? Really tired of hearing “BLEED, filth!” every few seconds.
I had Azurewrath & Thunderfury drop back-to-back last night. I gave AW to the Templar and sharded TF.
Life is good :)

THIS IS A THING?! I guess I should look in the options more often.
Ah, with voices muted, it’s much nicer. Note, if you have not played the game much and still haven’t read all the lore, you miss the lore if you do this, but really, the lore…is not that good.
I don’t hate the lore as much as some. I’d play through the campaign once with voices on.

The lore is good. The story was just written by a 3 year old. The little books and notes are pretty good for the most part.
Then the actual story is basically “bad guys tell you how to beat them repeatedly until they’re all beaten, the end.”
At least until the angel of death shows up and is like “plot twist, I’m not telling you shit.”
I will now re-enact the entire plot of Act V / Reaper of Souls:
“NEPHALEM…”
Oh, yeah, definitely I’d play through once to get all the books and stuff. It’s interesting enough, especially if you’ve played since the original Diablo. But Proust it ain’t. Hell, Raymond Feist it ain’t. But there are some fun things in the books, at least before Act V. Those are all pompous crap mostly.
Though it’s very enjoyable to kill a boss before he finishes taunting you the first time.
The books mostly drop in Adventure Mode too if you haven’t already gotten them on that character, I think.
They do drop in Adventure mode, though if you turn off voices you have to read them through the lore tab thingy.

I got the cube thingie in my Hardcore gameplay on the PS4 - I see I need some sort of coins, but have no idea where to get those - is that level 70 only? And did I read it correctly, that I can take an item, and REMOVE the level limit?!?!

The key crafting materials for the cube come from the horadric caches you get for completing an act worth of bounties, with a different material dropping from each act’s caches. You don’t need to be level 70, but I’m finding my mid-40s Demon Hunter isn’t getting as many from a cache as my 70 WD. Don’t know if that’s level or difficulty-related (my WD is on Torment, DH is not). And yes, there’s a recipe for removing the level limit on an item. Sounds sexy, right? But one component of that recipe is a specific legendary gem, ranked up to 25. So you a) have to get that gem to drop (I’ve had a whole two legendary gems drop, at all, and neither was that one), and then b) have to run Greater Nephalem Rifts and complete each one in the time limit to get a CHANCE to rank up the legendary gem a few notches. And that chance is affected by the rank of GNR you’re running compared to the rank of the gem. As far as I can tell that means you’re going to need to run at least five or six GNRs minimum to rank that gem to 25, probably more, you’re going to need to be able to speedrun rank 25+ GNRs, and as far as I can tell, the keystones don’t drop anywhere near every time you kill a rift guardian, so…yeah. You can do it. Technically.
By the time you can actually use the ability to remove the level requirement for an item, I suspect you will be so good at the game, and so jaded, that it won’t matter much…
Twinking beyond “weapon with socket, insert ruby” is so beyond overkill I have a hard time even.

That’s so silly to me. Why do they make it so difficult? I don’t see the harm in giving your alts a weapon you found yourself, it’s not as if leveling up to 70 is onerous to begin with.
KEVIN I DON’T EVEN.
Also go answer my newbie questions in the Endless Legend thread ;)

I can’t think of a single reason. But I wouldn’t be surprised if that gets walked back over subsequent patches.
