The odds of a key dropping start at 50%, rising with each level until they hit 100% at T7. Also, if you have a class set of level 70 gear, I would definitely expect you to be able to handle Torment levels.

If your gear is all lvl 70 stuff, you should be able to take T1 yes.

Grift keys don’t drop every time. On Master I think it’s a fairly low chance, even.

Well, I don’t know what class sets are, but I have two different sets of Armor, and a set of weapons, so I should be good. I guess I’ll try it out. Its just dangerous with in Hardcore, but have no issues at all on master - Thanks for the info on keystones!

Class sets are the green things that are all named similarly, like Firebird’s" or “Tal Rasha’s” or whatnot. Usually there are three or more pieces of armor/weapons that go together to give an ascending mix of bonuses based on how many pieces you’re wearing. These tend to define the builds people use.

EDIT: And, apropos of the link above, I just killed Josh Mosquiero (the guy from the video) in his incarnation as a rift boss…you get an achievement for it even…

I finished my Focus and Restraint set today (thanks, GRift!) and my unhallowed essence set (thanks, Kadala) on my season 4 DH. In about 30 minutes of play, my dps went up by an order of magnitude. I’m not sure what Torment level will hold me now. :)

Playing through the campaign is an absolute slog just so I can unlock Adventure mode in Hardcore.

I didn’t think of it until too late, but turn the difficulty all the way down, to make it fast and easy!

It’s the stomaching of the campaign that marks the truly Hardcore.

Think of the campaign as a rite of passage. Years from now, you’ll look back on it and think…yeah, that sucked.

Well, Blizzard has clearly made up their minds about it. You gotta do it to get to the good part.

You can finish the whole thing in a couple of hours if you want to. Just put it on Normal difficulty and run as straight as possible for the objectives (and skip most of the loot…it won’t matter once you’re rifting) and and then it’s done forever.

I have read that you don’t need to complete the campaign – you simply need to be in on a Maltheal kill. Perhaps someone who has already completed it can invite you along for a kill. I can’t, as I only play softcore.

I haven’t confirmed this myself, but I did read it on the internet ;)

So uh the Tal Rasha six-piece is insane.

Yep. Now, try mixing 6 Tal with 4 Delsere’s, or a “DelRasha” spec. It has me playing in T9 with relative ease. Along with Vyr’s, it’s also the spec people are using to push GR60+ for wizards. It’s really, really good :)

Note, you need a Ring of Royal Grandeur to make this work.

I’ve played through it all before three times now (2 on PC, 1 on PS4) - just really annoying having to do it again. Leaving it on Normal mode makes sense though, just to get it done!

BTW, Leah is Diablo. FWIW.

Oh yeah, I had an awesome run where I got my seasonal Ring and I think the TR pants in one quick session. It was awesome. Ring went right into the cube.

Currently I’m rocking two pieces of Aughild’s, five TR, and a grab bag of other legendaries. It’s awesome. Found the Convention of Elements ring, which is actually pretty great. Nagelring, as mentioned upthread, is a total all-star. Maloth’s Focus is an incredible hardcore item as well; a free passive AOE fear every 15 seconds or whatever is occasionally annoying but regularly gets me out of jams.

Wow, is the server being hammered now or what? First time I’ve ever been queued to enter Battle.Net and then major lag issues while playing.

Okay yeah the TR spec is amazing. Tons of CC, absurd damage. Doesn’t hurt it only took me something like 200 shards to gamble the Boots of “ok lol your meteors do double damage (triple against bosses).”

Torment 6 melts under my gaze.

Wondering if I could get a guild invite. I used to be in the guild but was dropped when it got full and I wasn’t active. Would love to try some coop.

I believe if you make a seasons character, Adventure mode will be unlocked regardless of having done the campaign in the past. New this season.
