And some just ridiculous, like the plague tunnels one. It takes like 3 minutes just to get there even if you know the way.

I’ve been having some issues with transitioning between areas. Sometimes when I port to a location, I get the loading screen, but the little diamonds in the center don’t animate, they just sit there. Sometimes I can hear audio. But the loading screen never goes away, and the game is essentially frozen (though the task manager thinks the process is happy). The only thing I can do is kill the process and re-launch.

This is happening about once an hour.

Anyone else see these issues or know how to fix it?

The arrow comes much faster now. I’m generally fine with it in most cases. It can be annoying in wide-open maps where you need to take care of 4 separate demon spawner thingies, etc.

Damn, I just got The Vault and killed Greed with my monk on T1 and jumped 22M in gold while doing a bounty run. Is that random or did I do something specific (other than killing a Treasure Goblin) to get the portal to appear? Might not be a big deal to those that do these runs all the time for a living but until then I only had about 12M in gold and that was a rather crazy jump to 34M+.

Random. I’ve had a few, but they’re rare.

I have mixed feelings about the double-bonus bounty weekend. Bounties are my least favorite game mode. I prefer rifts. But I feel pressured to gorge on bounties for the next few days.

I did find a nearly perfect ancient lion’s claw on my wizard, which prompted me to roll a monk. Monks are really good!

Join public torment 1 bounty runs. They go super fast. Like you get all 5 acts in 20 min or less. Just only turn in the bonus ones or you’ll piss people off.

Hot damn I got an early Christmas. After almost a year of on and off again playing I finally got a Starmetal Kukri for my WD. Gone are the days of envy of encountering other WD’s with their SMK, I finally have one and it’s all mine baby. I’m so fucking stoked right now I feel like these guys.

My Seasonal WD has become so fun to play. I’ve got the weapon cube power that makes your Locust Swarm go off continuously, and I am also using the armor power that spawns Mimics that cast some of your skills. Turns out the Mimics also have a Locust Swarm that goes off continuously. I’m also using the Belt of Transcendence that summons a Fetish whenever you use a mana spender. So all I have to do is run around and I have 15 fetishes permanently. Plus enemies drop like a rock. It’s a hoot. Running Torment 3 right now but going to boost that to T4 next time I get in.

My WD found Wormwood, that staff that has the Locust Swarm swirl around you all the time (what Charlatan mentioned he cubed I think). My question is, the graphic is there all the time, but is there any effect if I don’t have Locust Swarm either slotted or in use?

Plus usually everyone does there own quest in the bounty so you won’t be with other people if that concerns you. At T1 nothing is too bad.

Yes, its a known AMD Catalyst driver problem. I lost a HC Crusader because of this issue. Here’s a thread on it:

I haven’t had the problem since I tried the workaround of copying the older versions of the atiumd64.dll and atiumdag.dll files into my D3 folder.

BTW, its a Display issue. The game isn’t actually frozen, so when it happens you can hit “T” and Town Portal back to town.

If you don’t have Locust Swarm selected, the staff will still work and cast an “un-runed” Locust Swarm.
