Yep! :D
There is a limit on the T-level a <70 toon can join, but 4-5 rift runs at whatever they can do will usually get the job done, at 3-5 minutes per rift run if your benefactor ain’t fornicating with arachnids.
Your birthday is Jan 15th? So is mine!
Happy Birthday, gentlemen!

If I had to guess, I’d say 1 in 365.
Depends on the year(s).
So, I cleaned up my seasonal mail and it wasn’t as bad as I feared. I had actually been avoiding playing because I didn’t want to face it.
I was being facetious, thus the ;-).
I putzed around with this a little last night. The new island has some dramatic scenery and feels very claustrophobic with huge, gnarled trees dominating the screen (only to conveniently fade out when you move behind them. The critters seemed to be more of the same though – the only interesting mechanic that I noticed was a tree-monster that rooted you to the spot.
I didn’t have time to find the “Royal Quarters” or the “Yeti Hunting Grounds”.
Oh crap I better do that. I missed the emails back after season 1 and lost everything that was supposed to mover over from doing my wizard. I didn’t really top out my Witch Doctor gearwise this past season but I don’t want to lose all the mats etc I had farmed up. Now to decide what to level up this next season, Crusader or Demon Hunter, hmmm.
After starting seasons I’ve given up doing the mail clean on my “main” characters, there are just way too many items sent in mail and the inventory system in the game SUCKS so I’ve given up trying to organize and find out for example which of the 8 identical rings spread across 5 bags and mail messages I should keep (and repeat that for almost every Legendary/set item in the game)
It never fails:
Make a monk, play to 70, play to around rank 100.
Save all the loot I get for other classes, find out I have so much, maybe I should make a DH or another class as well.
Level that one to 70 and maybe hit rank 130, move items back to the monk that I got on the DH,
Play some more on the Monk, find out I have a lot of Wizard gear,
Level a Wizard…
etc etc
Eventually: Bags full and you’re stuck Microing.
:-)
That said:
Season 5 : Hardcore Monk ftw.
Eeeeek, so much stuff to sort. And no stash space in regular.
Oh well, it it wasn’t ancient, it’s now mats.
Going to roll a crusader for S5, methinks.
Not caring about non-season is a fine way to handle your seasonal mail. Works great for me!
Question is, what to run for S5? Crusader does sound tempting, after doing Wizard and DH in S4. Are they less gimpy than they have been?
I am led to believe their DPS opportunities have been buffed and are standing up quite well on the PTR.
Says the guy who just spent an hour cleaning out and organizing his non-season hardcore and softcore stashes and deleting <70s. Heh.
Don’t fight it, just salvage indiscriminatley! Like Sharaleo said, anything not ancient or yet-to-be-cubed. Okay, the bare minimum of discrimination.
Oh, I woodchippered a ton of shit. Pretty much what you said, except I did keep sets. Which will probably get cubed after this season when the next giant seasonal mail drop hits.

Am I the only person who completely melts all characters and items from previous seasons and runs? I guess I just like a completely fresh start each time.
I think if most of us want a completely fresh start we just make a Seasons character. If you never plan on playing non-Seasons it doesn’t matter what you do with your previous stuff.

Been excited about 2.4.
Realized you could view number of hours played in your profile (hover the mouse over the ‘progress bar’ for each class). Felt nauseous when I saw around 700 hours (hardcore from day 1). Trashed my stash (all those ancient sets & legs, mats, ramaldi’s gifts, leveled leg gems), spent my gold (billions on hellfire recipes @ 5 mil a pop), deleted all my characters, uninstalled.
This game doesn’t hold a candle to my favorites (dark souls, xcom, tf2, coh). So how have I played it five to ten times as much? I wish I felt the same sort of compulsion to do the things I value and consider myself good at.
The worst part is my mind is convincing me that it doesn’t matter that I deleted everything- everyone will start from scratch this season (and I still have my paragon points and cubed powers for later).
