Nah. This patch is all nerfs. I go into D3 patches expecting to roflstomp enemies that were previously challenging, not to be roflstomped in return.

I will. Last season was my first and did enough to get the stash tab with monk. This time going with demon hunter.

I most likely will, though I usually donāt progress very far. Was going to go for a WD, but apparently they nerfed them into the ground this morning so who knows. Maybe a DH? But, with Humble games and FortressCraft Evolved just today, I may not even bother this time around.
I am all about that stash tab, so will be jumping back in. Gonna roll a barb, I think.
So unfair that the PS4 (i.e. definitive) version of Diablo III doesnāt get seasons. :(

Yeah I wish one of the versions had both seasons and controller support.

I still donāt get the appeal of seasons. You get to start over with a new character? Yay? At least in each new season of Path of Exile, they change the gameplay in some fundamental way in each season. Maybe they do that in Diablo 3 as well?
They mix in some new loot and have a few new achievements, but thatās about it far as I can tell. (Well, and you can guarantee one class set from season journey rewards, as of a couple seasons back.) I do wish theyād do modifiers like PoE does.
A free stash tab. That is my primary driver. I also have not exhausted all builds/playstyles, so it is a chance to jump back in and try something different. I have no interest in ladder chasing, but Iāll get 2-4 weeks play out of a season, grab a stash tab and push some GRās until it becomes a paragon grind.
I too wish they took a page out of PoEās book and added some season specific game-play changes, but I am no longer sure there are significant development resources allocated to D3. With no word on another expansion and no in-game revenue generation, I think it is on bare minimum to meet their stated goals of ten seasons.
I hope to be pleasantly surprised by a stealth expansion launch.

Sadly, it was only T4, but still a pretty impressive haul! On the other hand, lucky it it was only T4 so I could efficiently execute!

How many bank tabs should be available in-game? Iām not playing seasons, and I currently own 6 tabs in my bank vault. In addition to a couple Hardcore characters, I also have 2 level 70s for each class (one for every class/gender option), and have no intention of leveling another one up during a season. Iāve been playing the game since day one, and just donāt feel the inclination to delete characters (my slots are full) just to level them up again.
I unlocked an extra bank slot a few months ago with gold, but havenāt played in a while and am really not that familiar with season benefits and the limitations placed on those who donāt partake.
Six is all there is, unless you play the seasons and complete the Season Journey up to a particular point.
Five from the base game, a sixth from the RoS expansion, then additional tabs up to 10 total from competing in Seasons 6 though 10 (season 7 just started).
At which point they will probably just let people buy the damn things with real money like they apparently already do in China/Korea.

If anyone else has recently had an issue where Diablo 3 is failing at startup (just sits there in task manager), look at the debug txt in the Diablo directory. If it is failing during initialization of the graphics system, check to see if the new battle.net streaming service is enabled in the battle.net launcher settings. If it is, disable it and then try to start Diablo.
Very annoying problem that Iām glad I finally found an answer to.

Just a small rant to say how much I really hate Diablo 3 because of the ridiculous amount of time it takes to update when I think I might actually not hate it enough to try getting into it again. Iām now reminded how much I hate you Diablo 3. Thanks! Wonāt be playing you now for another 6-12 months. Well done!
Next season starts tomorrow. And what a complete shit set of conquests for season 8, particularly for a solo player. (You need min 2 conquests to get the stash tab).

The idea of tying stash tabs to seasons is solid, but they really should move it down a tier or two. Everyone needs more storage space, not just the super hardcore crowd.
