You can’t use all those properties at once. I did that too the last season I played; that was a mistake. You’ll be able to keep legendaries you haven’t cubed for your nonseasonal PCs anyway (if you ever play them again lol). If you enchanted the lacking items you have, you wouldn’t have a need for newer/better gear all the time. Chances of finding what you want with all the right stats are very, very low.

Unless those crit stats were both maximum, there’s still the need to enchant to get them higher.

Ah, Primals are special ancients with perfect rolls - ie they were all max! :)

Got me there. I never had a primal.

I reached 70 with the Demon Hunter! Yay!

Now I should get another gem of ease and level it to 25, that shouldn’t take more than a week or so, and do that again with a weapon for a wizard. Wizard doesn’t need a special weapon right? She can just make do with any old two handed axe, right? Oh but wait, it should be an axe with a main stat of intelligence. I don’t have that. Rats. I guess this isn’t a great plan except for another character with the same main-stat as yours.

Do seasons get better drops than normal single player play? Because if not, I could do this with my Witch Doctor.

No need to level another gem, since your DH is now 70 they can unsocket the gem of ease and switch it to the Wizard.

Also if you don’t have a 2h unique with a socket for your wizard then just craft a yellow lvl 70 2h axe with a socket and change the str/dex to int with the enchanter.

What gem of ease? I used it in the Cube recipe to make the level 70 hand crossbow into a level 1 hand crossbow. There was another way to do that without using the Cube and using up the Gem of ease?

Oops, I didn’t even realize the old cube recipe was still good. I just socket it in weapons so I don’t have to keep leveling gems.

Guess they kept it if you don’t want to use the socket.

Makes sense. It’s like a free socket that way, which is very valuable normally, just not so much with leveling.

Sorry thread, Path of Exile expansion/rework/update just dropped, and holy shit it’s the best thing ever.

I know, I know, but you’ll just have to carry on without me.

Ugh, forgot to schedule the update last night, only just kicking off the 6Gb patch now. :(

My Demon Hunter got her fourth legendary Gem. Still no Gem of Ease. Just like with the Monk, I feel like it’s going to be one of the last gems to drop, so this will be a really long process.

Luckily, the Demon Hunter build I’m currently playing is just amazingly fun. Both Elemental Arrow and Chakras generate Hate for me instead of spending it. I don’t even bother with normal Hate generators in this build, since they do less damage in comparison. And Strafe spends Hatred. I just love, love, love laying waste with these abilities. So much more than anything on the Witch Doctor, Crusader and Monk so far. There’s just something about the way the Demon Hunter’s skills do damage from afar, the way she even collects dropped Orbs from afar by shooting at them, the constant barrage of deep bass-producing bullets and rockets and general mayhem, it’s oh so sweet.

Used this build to do the Avarice conquest in Ruins of Corvus.

Went through without killing anything but opened all the doors (took a few deaths). Went back to entrance, started killing and moving and racked up 80 million, 30 more than necessary, easily.

Noice!

This is absolutely me.

I can definitely appreciate, if not fully grok all of the LotR, PoR, CoE, crit, globe, whatever talk, but for me I see if the arrows are green. If so I wear it.

I try to go to Icy Veins and look at builds and I’ve done plenty of meta research in the past with WoW etc, I just find myself reading a paragraph or two and then I can feel my eyes glazing.

Still having a great time with my Necro. I’ve built up quite a few Greater Rift Keys but have no idea when or if I should start using them.

That’s one of the great things about Diablo 3. You can get hundreds of hours of enjoyment before you have to think about that stuff, and it only really starts to matter if you’re looking to climb the Greater Rift ranks.

Almost without noticing I went from struggling at T4 to clearing it easily. No silver bullet, just gradually tinkering with gear and skills and enchanting and Kanai’s cube.

Yeah, same here with my Demon Hunter. Just kept getting better little by little via small tinkering here and there. T4 is better for leveling up that Gem of Ease.

When I got my Gem of Ease leveled to 25, this time I used a socket and gave it a new wizard. And started in Tormet VI. I thought it would be funny, but it was kind of ridiculous. The first enemy I killed made me level 9, then 11, and after completing the first bounty, I was level 34. If anything touches me I die, and at level 34, suddenly things are hard to kill. Boy, that was just weird.

From here out I’ll switch to Torment 1 or 2, and try to kill things slowly and learn all these damned skills I suddenly have.

I’m struggling at GR 70 groups, haven’t been able to solo it. Trying multiple builds. The necro can go heavy defense or offense, but finding a good middle ground that will actually kill juggernauts in less than a half hour is tough. I love my inarius bonestorm but it can’t kill Juggs. The high DPS ones get me killed or constantly out of essence. The struggle is real
