Ha, I hate wallers. I want that!
Canāt wait to find that. How do you hotkey them? Do they replace ordinary potions?
Yep, that potion is pretty amusing.

They do replace regular potions, you just drop them in the potion slot like in version 1.x. Unfortunately you still pick regular potions automatically, but itās not a huge deal as they stack to 100.
A little extra incentive to play this weekend, before the expansion lands: the bonus experience in game is now at +100% until Monday, March 24 at 12:01 a.m. Pacific Time.

Wow, +100% bonus? I feel the need to get the DH and Monk up to level 60 but Iām having so much fun with my wizard I donāt know what to do. If only I had a son I could coax to level up my characters.
Holy crap! I just got my wizard up to level 21 (that incinerate laser beam spell thingy is niiice). Time to keep pluggināā¦

Nice. Torn between leveling up one of my non-60 characters or grinding out some Paragon levels on my Monk. Could get a 400% boost on Torment I. Decisions, decisions.

Level up new characters. I am betting the xp gained at level 70 will be significantly greater than trying to grind paragon up at 60.

Good point. Maybe I can get my DH AND Wizard to 60.
Made all my chars to 60 now. So back to Paragon grinding⦠or maybe, try some Hardcore characters.
Torment 2 with 2 people had 699% XP bonus from what I saw, which seems like a pretty decent bonus :)
Patch notes claim that the bug for 2h weapons rolling 1h damage has been fixed.

I canāt believe they claimed this was fixed without testing it. This doesnāt seem like it would be hard to test either.

No, see if you go back and read the linked explanation by a Blizzard guy from the other page there was a bug that sometimes affected two-handers that they did fix. But the terrible damage that they do is by design and working as intended.
The funny thing about two handers is that they COULD be awesome, or even grossly overpowered, with just a few minor turns on any of the knobs that affect applied damage. Either giving them a second gem slot or doing something about how stupidly good crit damage gems (and crit damage in general) are would narrow the gap quite a bit. And, as you fix their general performance, thereās always a risk of making cooldown or passive resource regen builds too strong with two handers. That slow weapon speed could be quite a boon for some builds, if conditions were a little different
Iāve always been a little surprised that they released D3 with a weapon speed system that recreated a lot of the problems of vanilla WoW, only far more extreme. WoW eventually (mostly) solved it by normalizing weapon speed, and having a clear intent if a given skill was meant to be used with one or two handers (or having it use different formulas if it was meant for both).
On a very slightly related note, anyone remember early vanilla warrior slam builds generating fury with one handers, then switching to a two hander to slam it off? Also, using swing timer mods to weave slam even in BC? Good times ;)

According to the posts I read, the problem right now is that lvl 60 2h legendaries roll their damage off the nearest 2h white item which is lvl 58 I believe, the lvl 60 version simply doesnāt exist. Legacy 2handers were ilvl 63 which is why their damage is significantly higher in comparison and Iām guessing the new 1handers have a proper base to roll the stats from. This problem should be fixed at 70, I quickly checked the armory and the onehanders had a top damage range of ~2200 and the 2handers ~2700.

Well the extra XP is great, playing a Monk and went from 35 to 45 in a few hours of play, doing the Zoltan Kulle stuff atm.
I love the Monk, makes me feel like Bruce Lee doing all that chop suey stuff, teleport, seven sided attack followed by whirling kicks is just awesome and never gets old sometimes I have to remember I have other moves as well. Also much prefer having the fist weapons fro the monk, spears and swords just dont fit my image of a fighting monk, maybe a 2 handed spear or staff as well but love those faster fist weapons.
