Yes, it seems to affect my crusader much less than other classes.

Reflects Damage seems to have been nerfed down to nothing since launch. I recall in the first month it being a completed nightmare, but now I don’t even let up dps when they put it up. It’s like getting a spawn with one fewer affix.

My least favorite affix is extra health. So, these enemies are LESS of a threat due to a wasted affix, but the fight is going to take longer? Super exciting!

Does it ever go down? I think in d3 it is just always on when they have it unless i’m mistaken.

I dislike the frost orb which moves to you and then pulses frost. Really easy to miss and if you stay over it for a few second, you’re dead.

I don’t think reflects damage ever goes down. It was shielding they nerfed in that sense because it was just stupid being always on.

My barbarian can’t even kill a treasure goblin on hard unless he has cooldowns up, because they constantly run away from you and whirlwind is a 25% snare.

Was that in the very early days? Because WoW accounts getting hacked became so commonplace that Blizz had restoration down to a science by WotLK. Hell, my account got hacked when I came back to play Cata and it was fixed in less than an hour.

I’m annoyed they made those things immune to stuns and the like. It’s real pain in the ass to try to kill one with melee while they run across the map ignoring everything you do.
Meanwhile a ranged guy just stands there and melts them as they run in circles like idiots.

You can still cc them, black hole works, judgement works, etc. They only become immune when they put up a portal I think.

Ah, I assumed it was off some of the time now, because the damage was such a joke. I guess it’s just even lower damage than I thought.

My mage certainly took a ton of reflected damage from siege breaker before the expansion. I havent checked it since.

Reflection doesn’t seem to do much, at least on Hard. I hardly notice it, though that might change on higher difficulties, don’t know.

I’m liking the bounties though. It’s a nice touch because I’m not sure I really want to go through the hole campaign again. If I do, it’s still a nice break.

There’s actually a set of categories for mixing affixes (I’m not quite sure how the new RoS affixes fit in either)…I’m assuming you mean they follow the same…

Which is…unproven.
In particular, some named mobs in adventure mode have set combinations of powers which may skew towards certain ones (especially the ones where you can’t see the affixes).

The actual hack had apparently happened in like…September 2005 (ish?) I found out in December because Burning Crusade was on its way and a friend had offered to pay for a server transfer so I could play with him and his guild during BC. Except I couldn’t log in to my account because it had been banned months and months after I’d last played. Cue Blizzard stonewalling the fuck out of me in the most assholish possible way. (It’s largely moot since a year or so after Wrath dropped I finally broke down and got a new account, but when I heard that people were actually being restored after hacks a few years back I contacted Blizzard about my old account and got exactly the same response as I had back in the day. Account Admin can go right the fuck to hell.)

Damage reflection used to be always on, but they changed it in one of the patches because it would pretty much just kill everyone. Now elites with the affix only reflect damage when their ā€œreflect shieldā€ is up, which has a graphic that looks kind of like a spiky red shield around them if I remember it right. When the power isn’t on they don’t do any extra thorns damage. This is all seperate and in addition to the shielding affix assholes.

My stun monk disagrees.

I got to act v tonight with my level 50something wizard, and also bumped the difficulty up to master. Wow are the drops better, and boy is living lightning a fun little spell rune.

So they unlocked my game without any hassle and within 5 hours of logging a support ticket.
But I lost all my characters :( and have to start from scratch! It’s like a new install game!

Luckily I only have two builds… but still a lot of time spent in a game that was lost!

Rolled a wizard once I got RoS and boy is that girl kicking butt compared to my monk I completed normal on when Diablo III was released.
I bumped up to ā€œHardā€ when I started Act II and she still murders everything in seconds (now in Act V).
Once she chain-casts meteors it’s game over for everything but the bosses!
Again it shows that Blizzard either favours ranged or doesn’t have a clue how to do melee right (like in WoW).

Question from someone who doesn’t have a clue about the inner working of the new expansion’s modes etc:
What is the next step in progression to Level 70?
I’m currently in my late 40s (saved the town) and guess I will finish Act V around Level 55ish.
Is there any other thing to do to level fast besides re-run Act I-V (would be a bit boring)?
Oh and no multi player please. It’s a single player experience for me.

The game will tell you, but Adventures, bounties and rift portals, which is basically a re-shuffle of the games assets and some new mechanics with soul gems and what have you. You can, once you finish the game once, level your characters like this from scratch instead of running the campaign.

Cool thanks :)
