Did you cave in and get WoW:TBC?

WoW never bit me, so no.

I quit WoW after only 3 months, so it hasn’t been tough to avoid the expansion. Nothing wrong with it, just not very addictive for me. (Kind of the opposite of Everquest.)

We bought one for my wife’s characters today. I will wait until I get a new computer (after the empty house sells and we allow ourselves a little mad money) to break down and load up. We both play on her rig anyway…so…you know…

I, on the other hand, found a used copy of the GBA Castlevania Doublepack and purchased it without delay!

Same, except maybe 4-5 months for me. I didn’t want to leave friends behind, but eventually I couldn’t take the tedium.

I had fun getting a couple of characters to 55+ in WoW, but I have absolutely no interest in playing it again, so no.

Neither my wife nor I returned for the expansion. Not that Blizzard cares.

Call us when they develop an end game that isn’t dull as dishwater.

It’d be interesting to know how many inactive accounts are sitting around right now, or what their total boxed copy sales of the original game are.

I’ve avoided the drug.

Has anyone else noticed that Gary has basically been MIA on the board since he got his hands on this?

I passed on it, I played Wow for about six months before I got myself out of it. I really just got tired of playing it.

I played for about 7 months when it first launched. Was clean for nearly a year and half before I resubscribed in anticipation of the add-on.

I hit 60 tonite…and since I bought BC I will never have to know the shame or unhappiness of NOT getting XP.

I can quit any time I want.

I haven’t put the bowl down yet…

I played for a year then the grind got me down. I’ll have to find a completely new grind to get hooked again.

I stopped playing at around 46 on a PvP server. I was never on at the same time as my guildmates, so I never had people to cover for me.

The dealbreaker for me was one Sunday afternoon when I got home at 5 o’clock, and decided to spend the rest of the evening trying to do some instances that had been in my queue for awhile. Six hours and 4 pickup groups later, I quit out of frustration.

It’s a great game, but I’ve had my fun,
