This can only end badly.
And personally, I’ve been hoping for Hayley Atwell as the 12th doctor on the TV version.

Ok - Christopher Walken as directed by Quentin Tarantino. They’ve already explored time travel in Pulp Fiction!
That reminds me of this.
Speaking of which, Ricky Gervais as the Doctor, Kim Kardashian as the companion.
Isn’t it, though? The orchestra is loud, the special effects are good, and the characters are given modern attitudes that match the culture of the day. But have any of them really expanded or added to anything beyond giving us a wink and a nod and then thrown whatever simplified buffed-up charicatures into hour long action sequences?
Hollywood can suck it. Other than the still honest one-offs told in Indies, there’s nothing of film that isn’t surpassed by television these days, and it’s arrogant to think a bigger budget and measly two hours can equal the storytelling, character building and complexity of a series (or comic or novel).
Jason Statham as the Doctor, directed by Michael Bay as he fights Daleks in the Time War?
“The TARDIS is exploding! FOR EVER!”
Yes please.
But the 12th Doctor is evil D:
I wish they’d go back and do the Time Wars. Bring back McGann, explain what the fuck happened there. That’s epic enough to be a movie.
The guy who played Hagrid is Doctor Who!
Terrence Malick directing, with David Duchovny as the doctor.
Daniel Day-Lewis is the only choice for the doctor.
C.
Wow…what a beautiful film… I wonder what will happ-zzz…zzz…zzz…zzz…
John Cleese as the Doctor, with Terry Gilliam directing.
Jackie Chan as the Doctor, Chris Tucker as the plucky companion, and Lindsay Lohan as the Master in a Brett Ratner production.
This, please.
Or Eddie Izzard as the Doctor.
A week ago, I wouldn’t have gotten that joke. Hahaha
If Tim Burton is the director, I cannot wait* for the Danny Elfman take on the theme song:
LalaLALAlalaLALA oooooooWEEEEEEEEEoooooooooooo lalaLALAlalaLALA BOOMBOOMBOOMBOOM OOOOOOweeeeeeOOOOOOOOOO
*This is sarcasm.
Will Smith as the Doctor, Haley Joel Osment as his companion.
Robin Williams, in drag, as the companion.
Bryan Cranston as the Doctor and Aaron Paul as his companion.
Not Jaden Smith?
Peter Dinklage as the Doctor… yeah, I’m not sure where I was going with this either.
