My feelings about the game are pretty simple: they lost me almost instantly by hitting me with an absolute avalanche of nonsense proper nouns and giving me absolutely no reason to care about any of them. The single worst world-building I’ve experienced in a game I’ve paid for. I really enjoyed the FF games. I was their audience. They fucked up.
Yeah, I still couldn’t tell you what the hell a Fal’ci, La’cie or Ci or whatever else was. All the real world building is done through database entries but I don’t play video games to spend all my time reading.
I fell off this game in the same spot with the blonde kid. So dull. Though I found I liked Blinded by Light enough to add it to my Spotify.
