Yes he has been staling, and Ermor off and on as well. Since he reads this thread maybe he will update us ;)

There’s always Atlantis. Atlantis is teh hugez0r. Have you written him a kind note?[/quote]

Atlantis so far has been quite the turtle. He finally swallowed Van, and poked around Marignon after it went AI (but even there he seems to be staying away from C’Tis as far as I can see).

Frankly, if it comes down to C’Tis vs Atlantis, I’m rooting for C’Tis. At least C’Tis got where it is today by being active.

You guys allowing clamming in that game? If Atlantis has been turtled up for a long time unchallenged and spending that time clamming then you are all in deep cacky.

Oops, I thought you guys set me to AI long ago… Go ahead–you have my blessing!

Guildboss: You know, you can set yourself AI ;) but now that I know I will do it. Heheh.

There is essentially no real clamming in this game. Clams cost (due to a bug in the mod) 15 fire gems to make, so I doubt anyone is making them…

15 and not 40? Well that’s the game right there if anyone has been paying attention.

My Gosh.

I stand corrected, 40 fire gems per clam. ;)

No kidding. C’tis has been at a constant state of war since turn 20.

Yep I checked it to make sure. I thought I had made a total diaster in the modding phew.

I brought both Forbidden Light (to get my Pretender to wish level fast enough - not that the wished power helped him much in the end) and the Ark. Desperate times calls for desperate meassures :D

I wanted to make sure that you didn’t see me defeated. Since I couldn’t help the defeat itself, I had to work on the “see” part :P

Excellent quote! So, I’ll write to the WorldWar host and tell him to shut 'er down.

Hrm, I’ll have to do some research on these things. Blindness can really screw up a guy’s battle plans!

The other major source of blindness is the spell “Solar Brilliance”, which can do a lot of damage to Ashen Empire Ermor’s hordes.

Faeruntest: Pythium’s last powerbase is coming under siege now. I am sure that 95% of my strength is concentrated on Pythium and it is having the desired effect. A rain of ashen angels and earth attacks slaughtered a horde of communicants and lesser mages, and managed to nail some important casters too (two liches, for example). The bulk of my 800 or so fiends are closing in, along with a ragtag army of sauromancers, sea trolls, vine ogres, whatever I could throw together.

Man is being annoying. Stop that, Man! Geeze, its like Alfred Hitchcocks “The Birds” up in the north.

Atlantis is nibbling away… however aside from the murdering winters that I am sure he must be behind, he is not putting his back into it yet.

FeedingFrenzy (Vanheim) - I am watching Mictlan’s assault on Caelum and feeling like the Germans at the start of “A Bridge Too Far” - man, I wish I had the resources for a thing like that. How many vampires and fiends is that? A thousand? 1500? More? I don’t have enough scouts or scry casters to know for sure.

I have decided that, as pretty as the Faerun map is, it is a terrible map for balance. For Vanheim, at least. Starting off with nothing but <4K population provinces anywhere nearby is absolutely crippling and is the root cause why I’ve been a minor player throughout this game. If there’d been an Atlantis player in this game I’d have been even worse off, being surrounded by them.

I do want to thank Pangaea for demonstrating a devastating troop combo though, which I intend to put to use as soon as I can manage.

I expect to hold out for a while in this game but barring some pretty major luck swings, Mictlan has it.

QT3FeedingFrenzy (Mictlan)

We see it as less of an “assault”, and more about enforcing international law after Caelum’s vicious and unprovoked attack on Pangaea. The peaceful forest dwellers asked for our help, and of course we had to no choice but to join in.

Without going into too much detail, you’re over-estimating the numbers just a little. Still. we do have quite a lot of toys to play with (and not just the mass-produced ones) and it’s nice to be able to get them all out of the box, finally.

Faeruntest (Pythium): I managed to kill over 200 fiends. Too bad there were over 500 in the battle. What I can’t figure out is how I did not get to fight 1/2 of them in Talath Pass. I teleported a couple of tricked-out golems there in the magic phase, yet the second fiend army arrived in N. Halruua in the movement phase.

Not that it made any difference in the longer run. I’ll play this turn to send a bunch of messengers to Man, then my 8 remaining commanders will be run by the AI.

Fiends are stealthy. So if they were led by a stealthy leader, the Golems probably weren’t able to find them.

But should they not then be hiding when they arrive, and so not able to participate in the battle in the destination province? It is also possible (because C’Tis has so many armies at this point) that the 200 fiends in Talath Pass are still in the Wizard’s Tower that was cast this turn, and it was a different 200 fiends who showed up to help the 300 already in N. Halruaa.

So, Qt3-WorldWar is officially over? We all surrender to Caelum?

Yep, officially over! We buckled under the trash talkin’ and threats Caelum nailed us with in this thread!
