Thanks for getting this to me - I reported the game, and requested a refund. The refund isn’t to get the money of course, but to make steam aware what the developer is using their platform for.

Oh right, I own this and was trying to figure out how to delete it (I got it 5 years ago in a bundle so a refund is a non-starter) but owning it means I can review it…
No refund, but that was expected. It was to make Steam aware of what was going on.
Since then, I found the “report” function on the games page, and used that instead.

I’d somehow never heard of this, but all the sudden attention made me curious because I have a soft spot for manly sword-and-sandal gladiatorial combat games. An hour in and it’s good! I get that the guy wrote something people don’t like in the middle of the patch notes, but I’m kinda glad he did because I might have missed this otherwise. If you like gladiator simulators and you’re willing to accept that the guy who’s devoting his life to making this particular gladiator simulator is also an absurdly over-the-top alpha male who isn’t afraid to make that clear in the patch notes, I’d say this game might be for you! Assuming you have a girlfriend etc etc.
