Any news from Illwinter on that bug Jonathan?

Outside of Johan O sort of calling me a cocksucker, no, not really. I’ve filled out a support ticket, posted in the Shrapnel forums in a few threads, and mailed the files to illwinter along with a description of the bug. I even tried to get Brooski to do some lobbying, but I think it is pretty much a waiting game at this point. Understandable, certainly, as Illwinter is a very small team, with lots of items to look at (and what, two new nations in the upcoming patch?). Given how well you were doing in Bommerlunder, I can understand how you would like to see the game proceed - my offer to go AI still stands.

Though it looks like you have your 8 players, I’d like to get in on the Lanka game if possible, with Abysia being the early age nation I’m most familiar with (which still isn’t very familiar).

Banefire perhaps? Though that is a green fire effect that should be quite distinct, also it behaves like poison and damage persists after the end of the battle, so you can see quite a few units take massive damage and die at the end of the battle (or when they retreat to the edge fo the field).

Doubtful. It was clearly red and yellow, I couldn’t find “BaneFire” in the casting list and they took damage all at once (as opposed to over time which is typical of poison type spells). Thx for the suggestion though :)

Sadly Niefelheim is being swallowed by one of the overpowered heims and their lapdog, Ulm.

So there will be no Rimtursar this Christmas.

It takes an overpowered Heim to know another overpowered Heim. :D I don’t look forward to fighting that big stack of Niefel Giants marching towards my lines, much less your 400 HP Pretender who regens 72 a turn (!!!).

As I mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I’ll be away from my computer for two weeks and won’t be able to play. I can take a turn Wed night, if the games hosts by then.

Looks like we have all the turns in except R’lyeh. If he gets it in early enough for you we should be able to squeeze in one last turn before you leave.

And to add to what Ron said, PM me after you’ve taken the last turn you’ll be able to and I’ll take the game timer off.
