I’m going to be out of town for the next few days with limited access to my server box. I am going to attempt to set something up tonight, but I’m not sure how long it’ll take to sort out the details. I’ll update this post once I know a bit more (I haven’t set up a server with no pretenders before, but I know it’s possible).
Edit: Hrm, that wasn’t as hard as I thought. Email going out now.

I have no idea what’s going to happen next when setting up the server this way. :P The other 2 times I had the premade pretenders already…

From the ranks of the R’lyeh armies assembled on the beachhead steps forward what looks to be the oldest Starspawn. The mightly host of Ulm’s immortal Vampire Lords stretches across the entire coast, blocking the way inland, ready for battle. The StarSpawn has no mouth but his voice sounds loud and clear in the heads of the Ulm host’s leaders, who look upon him in amusement:

Ayup, it didn’t like the “connect and create your pretender” mode and crashed (so much for that 2 month uptime, doh!). I re-sent the email - please create and email your pretenders as normal.
Neither can I. Marcin, I’ve emailed you my pretender as an alternative.

Ok folks, it is not entirely with regret that I have to end my time in this game. The server downtimes and the micromanagement of handling blood slave movement from provinces into fortified labs every turn as well as organizing all the freespawn and getting them headed to the front lines was wearing me down enough already, but today at work my manager - the best I’ve ever worked for - got sacked, no explanation. I’ve been laid off a couple of times in the past, and I see enough iffy things in the wind right now that I’m going to get ahead of it this time. Which means I definitely don’t have the time to put into this game.
The password is one I use elsewhere otherwise I’d ask for replacements.
Oddly enough, the last time I had to drop out of a Dominions game was when I got this current job in the first place.
Ouch, sudden job changes are no fun. My sympathies. Can you please set your faction AI?
