It would appear that we are waiting on Mr. Perkins.

Paging Catbird. Catbird, party of one.

So if you hit ‘quit and save’ it will host the game if you are the last player, even though the message clearly states that it will not upload your turn.

I thought for a second you were talking about me…

I was all, “I’m not playing in Bandar…right? Wait, maybe I am…I wonder what I did last turn? What nation am I playing?”

Damn people with my last name! :P

Between the two of you we certainly ought to be able to get this turn played :)

Oh dang! I’m sorry. I thought jeff would be gone for two literal weeks. I will play my turn pronto.

The server has hosted and sent out the automated notification email: please let me know if you did not get the email for some reason.

I have this feeling one of you requested an email change, but I seem to have lost it. Please let me know if you want it changed, it is literally a 2 minute change and no problem, I just clicked the wrong button in my client :)

I’m going to assume that the server status tool is correct, since no one is screaming about any inaccuracy.

That was me. PM sent.

The War of the Fishies proceeds. This month we received excellent news from far far away - we have liberated the once proud capital of Kailasa. Our troops are hailed as heroes by the poor citizens, who endured years of sieges by R’lyehian troops before finally succumbing. Work has begun on drying things out.

A peek inside the walls of the R’lyehian capital revealed a small handful of Mind Lords and slave mages, and one really big Tree, Really, really big. But not so very magically adept (1A 1W 1S).

Some losses are reported as well. 4 provinces were hit by Imprinted Souls this month, and 3 of those fell to the onslaught of madmen. But, in trade for the 100 astral pearls required to cast those spells, we’ll take it. 25 pearls a pop might well be worth it if the resulting force were strong enough to require at least a respectable force to dislodge them. But 25 pearls hardly seems a bargain to hold a province for a turn or 2 until some riff-raff can be dispatched to drive them off.

Holy speed playing, Lanka!

Keep up the good work.

“Holy speed playing, Lanka!”

Holy battles! two dead heroes in HoF already. And Pan is pretty scary with their prophet still there alive and kicking.

You guys are already battling? I haven’t seen anyone yet.

Me and Pangaea started basically in each other’s laps. Two provinces seperated our capitols. We are already locked in mortal combat so one of us will be eliminated rather quickly from the game :)

Lanka - Pangea

Turns out Lanka’s capital is literally 3 provinces away from mine. I did not know this and actually expanded initially in the wrong direction. Fortuitously though as I cleared the provinces around my capital my army wound up exactly in the right spot to take advantage of an overextended Lanka who had shocked me by showing up suddenly on my doorstep. I assume he scouted in the right direction and then went for the kill.

My capital PD actually took care of his army of sacreds (close fight though!) while my main army cut off any hope of retreat. This seems like a big blow for Lanka… It’s Nick however, so who knows what nasty tricks he has up his sleeve.

Ah Nick… will we always start directly adjacent to one another, forced always to grapple to the death from the start? Why can’t we just get along??

I didn’t have scouts out there, my armies just stumbled onto you and I got greedy and opportunistic. Then I discovered that you were much better positioned to strike back then I thought. This game may set a personal record for me in terms of how quickly I get eliminated.

Also it’s nothing personal in terms of picking on you, we just seem to end up close neighbors at the start of every game and for some reason I always conclude you are vulnerable to an early blitz. You’d think I’d learn from my mistake.

I just checked to see if I have a turn due.Why am I (Jotun) no longer listed on the player list at the Squidz website?

Oh yeah I know it is simply a fluke, I thought it was quite amusing ;)

Squidz: Lloyd, I’d assume it’s a bug. Go ahead and take your turn.

Lanka: Some of the map seems much more crowded than others. I rather quickly stumbled on someone else as well but things are working out much better than the Pan/Lanka combo.

C’mon Lanka, fight Pan back. Having Pan take over Lanka’s capitol this early would be no fun for the rest of us.

Yeah, Nick, could you quit losing already! :P

I assure you it’s very depressing to me too :)

I think I won like 1/3rd of all the dom2 games I played with QT3ers but my dom3 track record is abysmal. Of course, I did have a lot more free time back then to agonize over every detail on every turn.

Oh crap. Be a sore loser (whomever loses) and tax your capitol into oblivion before you die.

<3 worried Tien Chi.
