I played in maybe 6-7 Dom2 MP games. I actually “won” my first game but it was an alliance of n00bs that formed during the game to destroy the pros so I guess it doesn’t count as a total victory, which I’ve yet to experience (i’ve come close!)

I unleashed a massive blitz and he countered by teleporting in SC’s that up to this point I didn’t even know he had. Wave after wave was WWI’d against these powerful solo targets and thousands upon thousands have returned to the grave never to rise again. Will there be time to counter the surrounding SC’s? Doubtful, but perhaps I can hold out long enough for Ulm to eat him up a bit or pull a few SC’s off my back.

War against Ermor:
Heh, it looks like my all out counter attack over the last 2 turns is starting to bear fruits. After initial undead tsunami that annihilated my first line of border defenses, the battle lines with Ermor have been mostly stabilized, just as I have planned. Two storm attempts on my castles have been repelled this turn. About 5000-6000 of undead troops have been destroyed over the last 2 turns. 3 out of 4 huge initial undead armies have been either stopped, thrown back, or cut off from supply lines. The only direction in which Ermor is still pushing me back is underwater, where my SCs are less effective. Hopefully it is about to change.

Ermor still controls 6 of my uncastled provinces, but this turn I am launching the drive to push him back to our original borders and perhaps beyond it. My scouts report more undead reinforcements approaching from the south, but I don’t think Ermor can sustain this casualty rate for much longer.

Ulm, who is the last of human nations who hasn’t declared war on me yet, is certainly up to something. But as long as they are leaving me alone I am going to leave them alone as well - battling 4 human nations and one AI is quite enough for me.

On the other fronts things are more or less the same. Abyssia and Man are trying to break sieges on their castles time to time, sometimes successfully and sometimes not. R’lyeh is mostly holding their underwater provinces and repelling my attempts to conquest their ocean territory, while I repel their landing attempts on the surface. Atlants AI is pretty much suppressed by Ermor, R’lyeh and me. My own troops are slowly taking over remaining Abyssia and Man castles, while my main forces are currently busy pushing back Ermor.

Not that I’m any good (made it to the mid point in my first Dom3 QT3 game, then got crushed), but unfortunately I’m not a novice anymore, or else I’d join your game when you start it up. I remember some good Dom2 games that you were in.

My last (and only) Dom3 QT3 game was a good one, a long (unfortunately losing) struggle against Mictlan (Nick) followed by a less than glorious wipe out by Argatha (Ron Derby). By I did manage to take out Vanheim and Helheim, which is pretty good, considering that they are pretty tough nations.

Yeah, I had no idea Hoplite had hosted until I saw it mentioned here. Apparently I even staled last turn? It looks like I suddenly stopped getting emails about it the hosting before this one, since nothing was caught in my spam filter and I got one for every turn before that. Looks like I missed C’tis suddenly declaring war on me to take my isolated province.
