Due to Hetzer’s apparent temp absence and the upcoming 4th of July holiday for citizens of the American empire I’ve decided to leave Lanka off timer for the time being.
Next week around wednesday it goes back on 48 timer :)
Hoplite’s back up again. I ended up staling because I was unable to upload my turn before it went down, and I couldn’t access it for the last few days.
Thankfully nothing momentous was going on, but losing a turn of forging, etc hurts. :(

Well, seeing as I can’t seem to log on to Hoplite at all anymore, would someone like to take over the duty of turning off the lights and locking up? That is, if I still have anything left in the game, which I’m not sure of since I’d guess I’ve staled two turns now.

Sorry about that re: Hoplite. I think the machine is in the process of dying, since it seems to be rebooting on an annoyingly regular basis (and each time it does so it grabs a new IP address which means the firewall doesn’t know where to send Dom3 traffic to). I’ll check when I get home and see what’s up.
Well, Abyssia is done - I’m down to 2 castles with troops in them, my upkeep is exceeding my income (which is more or less zero), so if no one objects, I’m going to go AI.

Lanka is back on 48 hour timer now that we are past the holiday breaks people asked me for.
Hopefully we’ll get some speedup in our game progress now!
Ok, it is time to unleash hell. If three remaining human nations do not wish to accept honorable surrender, they will be annihilated. The wraith of Oberon is upon you, mortals.
(Out-of-character: Frankly I don’t see the point of continuing the game, with me controlling 3/4 of the map. My hope is that this turn with my massive summoning (1000+ blood slaves, 300+ gems, etc)/+ few dozens of very powerful SCs on rampage will convince everybody that it’s time to call it an end. Normally I would not push for it, but we are playing on a huge map, and controlling 3/4 of it is still time consuming for me, even though the outcome of the game have been determined at least 10 turns ago. Nevertheless I apologize for nagging.)

its ok with me declaring you the winner. I was only a dead man standing for at least 20 - 30 turns anyway. Only thing that makes me smile is that those &%/§%(/& atlanteans were gone before me…

I think apprentices is about done as well. Only 3 players left and the Giants are whooping on folks. TC is ready to surrender, especially since I don’t remember the port number!
yeah, I did all right in the beginning middle game, but by the time I got to the end, I was way behind the Giants. I’m out of gems in all categories, even my nature gems are depleted and I get +18 of those a turn from a damned spell :)
It was a good game until Atlantis quit playing and Man never showed back up. I want to know who was letting the Giants run wild while I was trying not to be eradicated by the fish men…?
Sorry about the double turn notification for Lanka players. Had a little hiccup with the server but it’s all sorted out now.
Looks like the giants staled last turn are down to a small handful of provinces so I suspect as soon as they are eliminated or Loke sets them AI that we will pick up speed again.
Banefire: I’m back. Considering, Mike has now been playing longer than I did, happy for him to continue Caelum if he so desireth, but equally happy to retake the reins if he doth not. All this is, of course, assuming that there still is a Caelum…
