There is no shame in Caelum’s death, none at all–it was amazing that he managed to survive so long against the impressively played Marignon. Anyhow, when a player dies on turn X, are their regions free of minions on turn X+1, or do they become indies?

Well, I was able to take my turn. Its hard to imagine that this in ability to take turns occuring at a worse time, but them are the breaks.

Nick, yeah, I didn’t go AI just because some people find it rude. I’m definitely out of it. If you guys want, I’ll set it AI tonight.
I’m actually looking to get into another game…
It would be much appreciated it if you would go AI. It turns out I either never set a master password or don’t remember the master password to this game, so my attempts to force you AI were in vain.
I myself don’t consider it rude to go AI once the nation is too small to be a nuisance no matter what foolish the thing the AI does when given the helm.
Anyone else interested? I might put another game together if there’s enough people wanting to get into one.
If you don’t consider it a problem me hogging spots in two of your games I’d be up for another one now that I’m knocked out of Banefire.
me too. though i’ve just discovered, after one of the weirdest days in my life, that the missus accidentally overdosed me with nutmeg, so i’m only doing so with an acute sense of fear and anxiety mixed with a dash of self-loathing…

Hey, Nick, could you perhaps take the game off timer if i haven’t played today? I’m pretty busy, and just thinking about it at work, there is alot of planning i need to do that i’m afraid will slip away from me if i don’t have a bit of extra time to get back up to speed.

I’ll take a spot in the new game if we can go to a 48+hr timer after turn ~20. I’d like to play a game with 75% magic sites just to try to even out what I perceive is a Blood Magic Advantage. It would also be fun to try altering other settings such as resource multiples, or a very unique map, etc. Also I would prefer to play without score graphs, and VPs.

CTIS is gonna hang tough. I had visions of logging on and seeing half my kingdom gone. But since no one could hang on we’re all together. Except for Ermor/R’ley who have millions and millions and billions of troops.
Well being a huge blood magic fan myself dating back to dom2 days, I’m not a fan of settings that will weaken the blood nations. If you think blood magic is too strong, I will let you have a chance to demonstrate. You get dibs on the blood magic nation of your choice :)
If anyone wants to jump into a game straight away, a Dawn of Dominions game I’m in over at the Shrapnel forums needs a couple of subs: Oceania and Kailasa, both in an excellent position. (Even after the old player staled a bunch of turns, Kailasa is still one of the strongest players in the game, and Oceania, of course, is the only water nation.) Game is currently at turn 50-ish. Anyone interested?
