So has the problem with Crom been worked out? I don’t think I’ve gotten another email.
And can I declare Xykon the magister of Magister and claim undead dominion over all? Or do you still want to fight, Hetzer, being the only other one left in the game?
I’m a little unclear on that myself, so I’m waiting for clarification from wahoo, but apparently his ISPs spam/virus filter is eating messages to me since I keep getting messages that just say “Contents deleted by filter, etc etc”

Nick’s seemingly inevitable march to glory has been slowed somewhat. The proud, tattered remants of Maverni are poised for a last fight vs Lanka and bloody them somewhat. Astral Corruption is down which means a lot of crazy stuff is about to happen as a lot of gems get spent etc.
This is an interesting game. Lanka is clearly in the driver’s seat but has to finish off Maverni before TC can get untracked. I’m not going to stall anymore so I’m going to be at my best (which when youre down’ to 5 provinces isn’t that hard to do! But i still have a few tricks up my celtic sleeve and hope to play a few nasty tricks on the demons!
The god-damned fucking eater of gods paid my pretender a visit. It wasn’t pretty. So I’m short a pretender and two globals all of a sudden.
This is all fixable, I have gems up my wazzoo of every flavor so I’m not worried about getting my globals back or not being able to override some else’s globals but it’s annoying that I know need to wait a few turns to pray my god back to life.

I’ve fought off every horror in the game, except um.,… squiddly blob horror. Joe Bob or something. It pisses me off that horrors lose the assassination attempt and “Retreat”, but don’t retreat and stay until your Pretender defaults and loses the battle. Bad bad bad.
Best part? Now that you’re horror marked, he’ll never stop coming. NEVER. You’ve watched the tape now, and there is not going back!
It’s the other Perkins. This Perkins is excitedly checking his email every hour to see if Crom has started!
Dude, my pretender is so fucking horror marked that Lucifer isn’t comfortable being in the same room as him. That was like the 10th consecutive turn where my pretender had gotten horror attacked. Mind you, the Eater of the Gods was a new twist, but the regular horrors are easily beaten by a N9S6B6 monolith.

By the time Tir or me finally settles this war, I got a feelings who ever wins will be standing on ruined grounds. I’m fairly certain Tien and Van were both bigger then us before the war, and they’ve had ample time to spend resources on site searching, research, etc. while we throw mages, money, and gems into the breach.
Still, I ain’t giving up anytime soon.

I tried to find out which race I eventually claimed last night and it looked like it was the Formor, but apparently not…? I’ll give the other a try tonight. :)
Tien was fighting in the war, but has pretty much run out of Tir territory to conquer. Also, why I don’t want to say Tir gave Tien a free pass, its nothing like the raids specialized treatment we have going on for each other.
