Ho Ho that where the times… everybody pointed at another said that the other one was the biggest… and i clearly felt that i was the biggest… i had searched every water region with the complete search spell… my pretender was to start a death produce line with a real huge income of gems… and than he got lost in space… changed anyhow and wasnt able to breath water anymore (so dying every time when called)… the call of abominations and gor them was only a last ditch manouver (and they die pretty easily)… so i had to recede my position as first even if everybody thought the whole time nick was it… i had every water province since early of the game and not so few landprovinces and all isles as well… problem is only… yes astral is a good mage line but i doesnt help you one bit if your mages and good troops arent able to leave the sea in masse…

In the sea even nick wasnt able to hold any province for two turns even with his best mages and spells… alas the sea wasnt the fighting ground, it is on land and there i had only water mages (and bad ones at that) so i lost the game… and i will never play a water nation again as you are nearly save in water and a looser on land…

got it ,thx…

So, uhh, the others have left the game? and declared ermor the winner? was he really that big?

After annexing C’Tis he was by a good shot the largest power in terms of territory, and thats all that really matters for Ermor. More importantly, I couldn’t seem to beat his armies in the field, nor dispel his globals.

I took the border lands from Midgard since Greatatlantic went AI, but here’s how Magister’s world looks right now. Free intel for you, R’lyeh!

yoo thats convincing…

At the time I really was totally unprepared for an underwater war. I had no water mages at all. Anywhere. Not even indies. I was desperate to empower my pretender to W1. Then I started my war with wahoo and discovered he had a fucking smorgasbord of awesome indie mages. Now I have mages of at least level 2 in every path available to me. wahoo really did have an uber sweet starting location with sweet indies and mages of all sort in his territory.

From fighting I’ve gotten witches, crystal mages, two different provinces that produces wizard, the fire knight guys, another magical knight type (haven’t built any yet), and two different kinds of elementalists.

I’m not stocked on all sorts of mages and confirmed for underwater brawl but nobody is interested in the underwater provinces since we haven’t set Rlyeh AI and nobody dares divert any attention from our current war.

I suppose we could set Rlyeh AI but I don’t see anybody profiting from it at this point.

“Now I have mages of at least level 2 in every path available to me. wahoo really did have an uber sweet starting location with sweet indies and mages of all sort in his territory.”

For the record, those were in Pans/Jotun territory that I took out. Pan had the chocke pt with a fortress that I took and was able to get those mages going.
Then I moved into the Giants and got a bunch of other goodies.

Has anyone stepped up to take over Pan? They still control half of the map and six out of seven victory points.

If not, should we declare the game over or would Rl’yeh like to carry on to the end with Pan set AI?

I’m willing to just call it a game. We’ve been in pretty nearly a deadlock with you for like two months (meatspace time), going nowhere fast. I’ve got some expected bigger summons, but you’ve also got demon lords and it all just resembles trench warfare with an almost unchanging front that occasionally rolls back and forth a little.

Just a heads-up that I will be traveling from the 19th through the 24th. When that gets closer, I’ll send Nick a note asking him to turn off the timer.

Agreed, I couldn’t find anyone to take the game (waited 48 hrs), so it’s yours, Marignon. Well done!

Pan

Ouch! That had to hurt Tir. I honestly didn’t think I’d win that one, but hey! Just wait to you see my next round of scaries tough big guys!

if Banefire and Magister are both at an end, I’d be happy to host a new game (or two) if anyone’s interested. All those CPU cycles are going to waste :P

Note that I got too much on my plate to coordinate and play - I’m just offering setup and hosting services :)

Yeah - I think I’d win that fight 19 times out of 20. Sometimes the random number generator comes up big for the bad guys, and that was one of those times.

I’m up for a game, with patch 3.10 out I’m looking to get my dom3 on again!

Mistspell: If you’re stuck in the SE corner of the map, which some countries are, contact me as I have deals to make.

Ulm

Mistspell? thats where i play Shinuyama? A little confusing which name is which game…

Agartha - The huge, lumbering Agarthans emerge from their cave-fortress and, squinting their eyes against the bright sun, survey the surrounding lands, ripe for conquering. Scouts report surface-dwellers riding upon the backs of elephants and men in heavy armor as the Agarthan’s first opposition in its quest for a return to the empire’s former glory. As the Ancient Oracles bestow blessings upon the troops, the mighty prophet of Agartha blows his war horn, signaling the order to march…

The armies of Tien Chi have already claimed four provinces outside the capital. Clearly you should all ally with me lest you perish.
