Disclaimer: Agartha’s news clippings are several days behind “actual events”. Blame the carrier pigeons.
As for the alliance, send an emissary and we’ll chat. MUHAHAHAHAHA!
I just got an email today saying my order has shipped! If any new games are starting up, and no one minds me being completely new to Dominions…I’ll eagerly join. I have no problem with getting completely annihilated.

Mist Spell
New Turn. I lost my internet connection from Sat until yesterday, so that was why I staled.

Sounds like a new game is being suggested cough

I might be up for that. I might be out of Mist Spell a lot quicker than I anticipated.
Well, since Marcin has agreed to host, all you need is somebody willing to organize the event and players willing to play…
I guess we have a few elements of the latter, so I’ll organize under two conditions:
A) It’s Late Era (appropriate as 2 late era games have just ended)
B) No Ermor
If anyone else is interested in joining, say so. I’d like to try either Glory or Cradle. If we have less than eight, then I’ll ask Nick for a copy of the map he prepared for Jeff.

Late era? Perfect. I want Patala. Been experimenting with them versus the AI lately.
Remember if you play Serpent Cult your Hydras are not really sacred, so don’t build a strategy around it.
There’s a quickfix out for the hydra sacredness, isn’t there?
Late era, eh? After my miserable showing in Banefire, I’d be interested in trying Jomon again, though I’d need a couple of days to finish my exams before I whip up a pretender. However, after experiencing daunting late-game micro in Hoplite – which is on Cradle – I’d be inclined to favour a smaller map.
No Ermor is fine by me, though.
Looks like their interest, so I’m in as Midgard. I can’t help but shake the feeling I could have played them better in Magister. I’ll come up with a witty name tomorrow.
Edit: And I wouldn’t worry about your exams, ME. Experience tells me it will be at least a week before everyone gets their act together regarding nations, to say nothing of Pretenders. Regardless, we won’t start until Adam gets his game.
I’d like to play. Will decide on a nation later today when I get home from work.

Hey, me too… The games that im playing in are really played in 48 h a turn so well time enough… will give my nation asap…

Ok, if the new game is late era ill take something completly different… ill take ulm.
I’ll make a stab in the dark and go with Pangaea, if that’s cool with everyone. Man! I can’t wait to get my hands on this game!

Hmm … vampires, werewolves, undead plants … Patala snakemen are disturbingly ordinary and non-apocalyptic. Maybe I should go with Agartha instead.
I’ll get in on this one as Marignon. They look worth a try, and I’m not feeling quite as vengeful as GA about Magister. :)
Edit: Actually, yes, I am. Man it is!
Mercutio

In that case I’ll take Patala.

“maybe” I said! Gah, can’t decide, at work and thinking about pretender builds …
Edit: yeah ok, I’m going to force myself to make up my mind and stick with Patala. I know how I would play them, my few attempts with Agartha vs AI have gotten bogged down in badness.

Your turn to hurt, this time. I bet it especially hurt to have one of your army-crushing SC Jarls taken out by 45 barbarians and a couple of vine bows.
I wish I had appreciated the power of vine arrow against your Jarls 20 turns earlier - this would have been a much different war. Now you have so many of the damn things that killing one feels real good, but doesn’t tip the balance any. I have a feeling we’re going to sit in this stalemate for a good while longer.
Meanwhile, I wonder if TC thought that Eyes of God would show him where glamour troops are (it doesn’t). At least he can now post pretty maps showing the grand strategic situation. But even with my limited scouting I already have a good idea where all the borders are.
