The votes are in and I’ve just sent the email to “Kraaze.”

The end tally was MSF: 45 (default for ME is 40), VPs: 7 (one per capital, no randoms), and Score Charts: ON (easily won with out factoring the people who just voted default).

IIRC one of the Inquisitor players (Mind elemental?) is on vacation for most of July.

Wrapping it up isn’t going to happen for a long time. Months, probably.

When we do start up Inquisitor again, can we set it back to 48hour timer? I know it’s hard on Jomon but the game has made essentially no progress since we went on the long timer.

So you must capture every capital to win? Why bother counting VPs? Or am I missing some subtlety here?

Ugh. We feel ourselves ganged up on already. People are going to see the graphs with Ermor having 3x the army size of anyone else (nevermind that any one of our fragile troops is worth 1/10 of a decent living troop). Remember, folks, this isn’t your father’s pop-killing, free-spawning, scorched-earth Ermor from dom2 (or from dom3 Late Era). This is wimpy old Broken Empire. Just a bunch of kindly old (very old) men who like to play with toy skeletons.

If my memory serves, thats actually what you voted for, too, at least in formula form. There was actually some trouble for me with this category, as there isn’t really a “default” number of VPs, or if there is it does not change with mapsize, number of players, or most importantly number of total VPs. So, I just counted the votes of people with actual numbers.

I’m back, and ready to upload my turn once I can connect to the server (is anyone else having problems?).

However, I’m going to vote against returning to 48h timer. Sorry, Rollory, but when the game was on 48h - and things were much less complicated than they are now - on weekdays, I spent seemingly every moment of free time, five days a week, hunched over the screen, microing Dominions turns. This was about as fun - or, rather, not - as it sounds.

A 96h game gives us all time to plan and execute our moves at our leisure, while still making progress, albeit not at the same pace.

Actually, I’m ready to concede the game to wahoo. I can annoy him, but he has the game. Unless, of course, there is something that I don’t know about Marignon or Tien Chi. But wahoo has a load of everyhing and I can’t stop him.

I’m still trucking along as R’lyeh, but it’s simply a matter of time until someone decides to come for me. My few excursions onto land have gone poorly.
