Ouch! My main army was hit by leprosy this turn, which would suggest that Ermor has hit Thaumaturgy 6.

The Ermorian army has retreated, which I will count as a minor victory. My fate in this game has thus subsided from imminent death to a slow and lingering death, so that is something I suppose. At least I now have the time to research a few more spells.

Uh guys (and girls?) im without internet since a few days… stalled a turn at least i think… if you could please stop the timer. My splitter is gone and i wait for a new one from my provider… should be here in a few days.

I suspected you were being unusually passive. Thought you might be having second or third thoughts.

Giant alive is Mercutio/Ashdod playing hard to take down. Though I may have sabotaged myself. My designated caster for Fog Warriors was one gem short, go figure. Instead, I think he cast something useless like Wind Guide. Sure, it made thunderstike more accurate, but that was a sideshow anyways. On the otherhand, I traded a lot of troops for the death of two of his SC’s and wiped out the last of his archers while my mages escaped. It didn’t help that my mages wanted to cast paralysis instead of frozen heart.

However, I noticed a water immunity ring on one of his fighters, which confirms my suspicions. Somebody has been supplying him, as Ashdod doesn’t get water mages, I don’t think. I suspect Ermor.

Why on earth would we be meddling in wars so far removed from our own?

Actually, your talk of Fog Warriors makes us feel as if we’re fighting with sticks and stones while you have Star Wars weaponry.

If you haven’t already, please email me your pretender and your voting preferences. Please include your qt3 name in the email, and the email address you’d like to recieve game notifications. Also, please note we have two spots remaining, if anyone wants them.

I want to play. I’ll figure out my race…

Yoo guys i´m back… it wasnt the splitter it was the fucking modem… who seemed to work but didnt… :(

Do we play now with or without the Mod?

Without.

Damn there goes my pretender plan…

Bah. Got me all excited for nuthin.

Pretender on the way…

Pax Ermor: Is back on timer. Come on Shin, get your turn it!

November 5: The date is the deadline. I hope to go over the emails I got and see who has and has not given me pretenders and voted on settings. Keep in eye out for updates.

Shinuyama finally got the better of Ermor, but the term “Pyrrhic” certainly comes to mind. Also “own goal” for casting Acid Storm. Have a gander at the Hall of Fame, where the Acid Storm caster rose from nowhere to the top of the heap. Died at the hand of his own creation.

As we say in Ermor: “Wars of attrition R us”

You can’t make an omelette without breaking a few eggs…

Entertaining battle, in any case. My first casting of acid storm. I didn’t test it out beforehand, and perhaps underestimated the brutality of 4 ap damage every round. It hits 50% of the battlefield, but I noticed everybody got the “broken armour” effect after the first downpour, so effectively it’s doing 4 armour negating damage to the mundane troops right off the bat.
I did have a survival plan based on casting mass protection and marble warriors, but it was not as effective as I’d hoped.

I saw the battle. Acid Storm is nasty but it worked extremely well against the horde of dead horsies. Nicely done.

Worked on a pretender last night but he/she still needs a bit of tweaking. Should be able to get it over to you tonight…

The scary thing is that Ermor lost ONE THOUSAND troops and still look at his army size compared to everyone elses! Egads

I keep tellin’ y’all

My troops are like paper. They sure as heck dissolve in acid.

They may be paper but even paper is awfully tough in reams. I think Shin lost the fight since he only killed at 7-1 ratio. I think we need to kill the undead at greater than 10+ to 1. You can overcome those losses much more quickly and cheaply than he can!

Put another way, you have another 4000 ready to go. Shin doesn’t quite have another 200 guys ready to go!
