Hey guys sorry that i got here this late… as most have seen i wasnt able to join the games for some time, i had a rather heavy time in the last month… as part of that ive lost my gameinstallation of Dom3 so im not able to join any game anymore as the handbook was lost as well. So if the gamemaster of the two games im in could make me ai… or i will give the password for the game if there is someone interrested…

If not, I vote for keeping it a land war. My guess is that a “water rush” would just amplify the advantages of the current leader(s).

Hmm - I wonder. His dominion can’t really be all that strong, as his capital is frequently under positive Ermorian dominion. If we had someone use his password to go in and demolish all his temples - how long would it take for R’lyeh to die a natural dominion death? We might have to figure out how to get his pretender and prophet done away with as well.

True, but this wasn’t about trash talking. I was just thinking about some way where R’lyeh could be eliminated - so we do not always have to wait the full 72 hours - without setting it AI or letting people carve it up.
On the other hand, several players (myself included) regularly take nearly all of the 72 hours. So it probably isn’t worth messing with it.

That said, I’m very scared about how many Ermorian troops are produced each turn. I killed over a 100 and your troop scale still shot up signficantly. bad times.
BTW: I say we leave R’lyeh as is. AI is just brutal. Not sure about letting other countries invade as that is a windfall for those countries at peace and touching R’lyeh territory.

Welcome to the chaos, DA. You should find yourself in a pretty good position. The map has a nice round central ocean, so the usual mobility problems of playing underwater are minimized. You are right up with the leaders in most graph categories, and for gem income you are the leader by a wide margin.
Let me catch you up on the situation, DireAussie. R’lyeh has been the vassal of Eriu for the past 50 turns. Only 50 turns to go before R’lyeh is released from our service. Until then, we welcome you to obey our every whim!
Setting a longer timer is one possibility - a universal 3-5 turn NAP for R’lyeh and everyone is another way to let DA get his fins under him.
p.s. “stolen”?!? You make it sound like we, the Friendly Empire of Ermor, were the aggressor in this dispute. You remember - the dispute you started, the dispute that is sucking both of us dry, the dispute that is handing the world to Pythium on a platter (er - the dry parts, at any rate), the dispute that we have offered to end on multiple occasions. “stolen”?
