On a per-hour basis, it is by far the cheapest entertainment I’ve ever purchased. But it isn’t for everybody. You’re right, opinions differ. My understanding is that Shrapnel’s opinion on price is based on the fact that it remains their strongest selling game.

Dom3 is a niche title, and so it has niche pricing. Price drops to capture the mainstream audience that wasn’t quite ready to shell out $59.99 for dom3 but might be tempted at $49.99 make no sense. They’ll only get seven new customers and worse yet, one of them will be Midnight Son.

I’ve put a lot into this game (I don’t think I’ve missed a single turn this whole game, except the recent one when the server was unreachable), but with this morning’s server reset I’ve just about hit my limit. We’ve played only 4 turns in the past month and we’re on track for a 9-day turn this time around.

Last week I suggested that we play at least 10 more turns - but it looks like to get even that far will take us into the June travel/vacation season. If the plan was to slow the game down so much so that someone else becomes the bad guy who quits, the plan may be about to succeed.

You lost your key? Do you have the game installed anywhere still, on an old computer maybe? I believe the key is recoverable from an installed copy if one knows exactly where to look.

Just a little note for anyone using my Monitor Lizard tool… I found it was pretty easy in some cases to lose the systray turn notification. That and a few other small are things are fixed.

You may now return to your regular bashing of all things.

If you have record of your purchase, try asking tech support for another key. I remember seeing people in similar situations on the official forums who lost their manuals recourse to this.

Nah if im really in need of a key a friend of mine has one but i dont plan to play it anyway as the late game weakness of dom3 is to large for me.

Pax Ermor and 5th November - I’ll be away until next Tuesday. Seems nobody is taking care of 5th November so I may stale, but for Pax could you please extend the timer until I get back (my guess is that it will be extended regardless ;) )

Umm…no? I was just saying that there was a bug in ML that caused it not notice when you had a new turn. It should now notice correctly and tell you about it.
