I think we’ve all been there, with the stealth units. Ctrl+click is certainly compuslive for me.

My strategy right now as Maverni is simple expansion to my colored borders. Unfortunately, I’m running short on scouts and am for the most part moving blind. As with all good dom playing, I will be pushing for alliances once I know my neighbors.

Well, it would appear Caelum (Matt Perkins) has vanished without a word. Though he didn’t ask for it, I extended the timer to 96 hours (4 days) to a) give him time to get his turn in, and b) Dave Perkins is will gone for the weekend and won’t have time to take his turn since Caelum didn’t get theirs in.

Come on Matt, its the early game so turns should be doable in 30 minutes or less.

I was out of town and then got sick. Turn made :)

Anyone have a link to some kind of image file that shows what the various nations use as their flags? I’ve got visible neighbors now in the Atlantic game, but I don’t recognize the flag that I’m seeing.

F3… or F4, I forget. Click the name for a full nation history with strengths and weaknesses.

Thanks, Quitch! It’s F4.

finally got around to lowering my escalation and working on my independent provinces, and my army is making me really happy.

Still need those forged items- will pay handsomly with money or military support

Do lizards even know how to handle forged items? I mean, really…you’re barely able to walk upright, no?

Don’t think I don’t see you down there, Ermor! Go away!

Edit upon actually looking at how many troops are coming: Okay, this game was fun, you guys. See you in the next one! Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeez. I don’t stand a chance against that!

Edit after starting turn 20: Never mind!

In related news, people in Vanheim are being treated for whiplash.

Why do these people hate digital distribution? I just can’t bring myself to buy this game for that price and not have it on Steam/Impulse/Whatever.

Ermor is expanding way too quickly. He needs to be put down.

Ermor is expanding without check, as his slopes on the score graphs become steeper and steeper! Those who share borders with him (C’Tis, Vanheim, Abyssia, and Ulm) and are not currently at war with him need to be! He took a province adjacent to Ulm’s capital, and at least one other province in Ulm’s region! Look at the numbers:

Ermor Provinces: 1st with 24, next closest 17
Ermor Income: 1st with 2207, next closest 1035
Ermor Gem Income: 2nd with 14
Ermor Dominion: 2nd with 255
Ermor Army Size: 1st with 1550, next closest 682

These are staggering differentials! It’s time for a call to arms against Ermor!

Vanheim is bolstering its defenses as we speak, and planning an offensive once we have our god’s favor. Tiamat is most displeased with the undead legions.

As the head representative of Ulm I support this measure against Ermor.

Very interesting, that the Empire of Man wants everyone else to attack Ermor while he grows unchecked. Calls to arms for Vanheim, Ulm, C’Tis and Abysia, yet none for Man? Note who is in second on those score charts in provinces and income - Man. And how does Man know about what is happening deep in Ulm’s territory? Where else are Man’s covetous eyes glancing? Especially while your armies are away from home, fighting Man’s wars.

Nice try, Evil One, but Man’s provinces do not share a border with yours, so we are unable to reach you without engaging our neighbors. You have 7 more provinces than me (more than 7 for everyone else), more than 2x my income (more than 2x for everyone else), and more than 2x my troops (more than 2x for everyone else). You are the biggest threat and continue to expand unchecked. If Man ever finds Ermor at one of his borders, your forces will be judged and found guilty, and the cleansing will begin…

EDIT: I suspect Ermor’s using this strategy, rather than developing one on his own. Check out the fifth paragraph in the Oracle Strategy section.

as the former 2nd place nation(C’Tis), and now third place I feel I must say- I have access to both of you, and am really scared of the huge power increase in the state of man, as I have a counter already active for Ermor.

Of course at this very moment I have found vanheim with a huge army on my border, and this may very quickly turn into a bad situation for me, so I wish to ally with either of my three border nations! or have any sort of Non-Aggression pact with them. My peaceful race of poision spitting lizard warriors wishes only for peace and open trade routes, not the abject annihalation of friendly dragons, liches, and people.

As a nation competing for last place, Abysia fears its mighty neighbors to the north and west. We only wish to blood hunt in peace.

I’m flattered that you think I have a large army, but unless you have a 300-man army wandering around to my south, you are not my target. We have other pressing concerns, like the subjugation of all independent people.

The banter for the Pacific game is most excellent!
