If we do go Late Age, I’d like to take Jomon. If we go Early (my second choice), I’ll take Arco. And if we go Mid… I might pass; already in a Mid game, and I might prefer to hold out for a Late game. ^^;
Finally, as to noobishness… well, I’ll let my post count do the talking. ;) I have been lurking in this thread for a month or two, though, and it’s a pleasure to finally ‘meet’ you guys!

Whoa. That was fast. Since we have some time before the 3.02 patch is out, take a look at the settings, and figure out if you’ve got any additional opinions on any of them.
The big issue is picking the Era - Early Era has more magic and fantastic troops, Late has less magic, and Middle is, well, the middle. There are some cool nations that are only in one of the era’s, so take a look at the list, or just look deep within your heart, and offer up an opinion.
Since I’m getting all sorts of good UI info today, is there any way to determine the supply needs of a stack??
I’m still votin’ for Late – they’re the only era in which Jomon is available. :) Besides, I like heavily amoured mundanes and knights. So far it looks like we have one person in favour of each era.
ETA - Lloyd, you can check the total supplies consumed by all troops in a province (top of the screen, along with all the other province info), if that’s what you were wondering.
No, I don’t mean that, I want to know the supply needs of a SELECTED stack BEFORE I move them into a new province that does not have enough supply to support them…
I don’t think there is such a feature, I’m afraid. My rule of thumb is just to allow one supply per unit, two for large ones such as cavalry and shamblers.

Yeah, I was trying to preach you out and almost got it.
Unfortunately I have been cursed with intractable neighbors in this game, who won’t negotiate. So now I’m in a constant state of all-front war. I think my once-strong early position in thie game is about to crumble. I’m down from 12 provinces to 4, which is what a two front blitz will do to a guy.
