I’m willing to accept surrenders so we can have peace in our time! I can be magnanimous in victory.
@legowarrior Surprised I lost and will have to see what I did wrong. But not sure how many more victories like that you can take!
Yeah, that was an excellent loss on your part. Your False Horrors blocked your own troops, and since my shamans were berserk, they survived until the turn timer ran out.
Still, you seem to be are stuck in that castle for the turn. I wonder what fun things I can do in the meantime. But, I lost a lot of troops and mages in that fight. They will be sorely missed in the upcoming fights.
I have to watch also out, you have that siren and that Queen of the Lake in that pond just waiting to come ashore. And at least 2 Queens of the Air running around. The collection is rather vast.
I have no clear counter to all of them yet.
Just as a reminder, I turned off quick host because I submitted a turn incompleted. Sorry about that, but I should get my turn in tonight.

Can you push turn out roughly 28 hours. will get it in tomorrow.
I can’t believe someone knocked off @Strato! Got be honest, as sad as I am to see @Strato, having his domain hang around was a bit of a chore. I can final get my globals into his territory. That should make a big difference.
Anyway, I’m a bit sad to see all the provinces being eaten up like that. Not cool everyone. I’ll end to put something together to tough it out, but I’m not sure what it will be.

Not me. Must have been Kelan.
Looks like the last province with his domain was taken by @wahoo.

Hey at least my turn was a nice simple one. And to think I was going to try and make a comeback with my event spawned Vanarus units.
That was an odd event. I didn’t realize you would try to hit my mountains.

Not my fault! I thought he was going to go where Machaka wasn’t.
We’re pouring one out for the might Van. @strato got in a bind early. At one point, I considered rushing him b/c I saw his starter army get whooped by indies.
How weak were you Strato? Could you ahve beaten some of my mini-giants when we first ran into each other?

Nope, not a chance wahoo. In fact, the first question is which indy fight in particular where I got wrecked because there were a couple. I think it is safe to say if you did come after me early, this would have become a very different game and you’d be sitting cosy on the Van fort quite comfortably. I don’t know what happened honestly. Well I know I lost fights, and when I lost momentum losing one fight, I felt pressured to keep up and took a bigger risk and lost another one against the indies. But that first fight just went poorly and I’d have to relook at the battle. The end result was while peace reigned, I was solidly boxed in such that I was neighbouring everyone except dfs. Clockwise from the top was evil steve, legowarrior, kelan, pyrhic and then wahoo surrounding me. The fact I survived so long is testament to pyrhic’s stubborness in refusing to die because once Legowarrior could crush me from both ends, it was over. I chose the wrong side, sorry Legowarrior! Actually, no, I chose the right side because if I didn’t do what I did, I think this game would have been over about 20 turns ago. At least now there is a solid 3 way fight for the win.

I might get to it tonight. And I might need more time.
Gonna have to think about this one.

@Strato I was pretty sure I could take you b/c I saw one of the indies whip you. But on the grander scale, I was pretty sure that if I took you I’d be in trouble with my other neighbors. I think usually the early clear leader gets dogpiled and I had Abyssia right next to me as well. I wasn’t built with the ability to skyrocket into the lead and hold off the world the way MAchaka has been.
BTW, I’ll get my turn in tomorrow.
Well, I added 48 hours to the clock, just in case.
Next turn… its going to hurt me, isn’t it? All those monsters are now free to rampage through @Strato old territory.
I feel like I need to make a firm strategic decision soon.
The turn turned out as expected. Actually, a little better than expected. Not sure what happened to that army at my castle.
I was surprised by that the global that was put up! That makes a war a little harder.

Sorry wahoo, I worded my response badly. I meant I wouldn’t have had a chance initially. If you came down you would have met paper thin resistance.
I have wondered about a gamestyle to avoid dogpiling. Because that is how MP games turn out. Removing graphs goes some way to accomplishing that, but even in this game it was clear to see who the leaders are because territory size means a lot.
Yeah, right now its a dogpile on me. Actually, most of this game has been a dogpile on me and right now, I’m behind in provinces and gems and probably army.
I’m going out swinging in this fight, and my only question is, who do I want winning this game, because I could probably wreck on of the two players.
I’m leaning toward @dfs right now. Smaller army, doesn’t have the mobility of @wahoo, and if I do it right, I might be able to get @Kelan back into the game.
In the meantime, I’ll just have to prepare some fun stuff for everyone.

Funny, I looked at that turn and thought “Leggo’s just about got it all wrapped up.” I see you forging towards thrones even with the dogpile on you. Each of us have three thrones. While you and I have ours fortified, you have armies very close to the unfortified thrones.
While you’ve lost a lot of territory to raiding, we’ve haven’t touched your infrastructure. You’re smaller, but with those globals up you’ve got by far the best income, the largest army with the best quality troops and rough parity in gems AND are 4000 research points in front of the rest of us. You’ve got the best death game on the map and the globals to start pumping out tarts.
I prefer graphs on. It makes forum woofing that much more fun, but you’ve still got to keep your eyes open. The dogpile is part of the game.

Small point of correction. I have 1 throne as I recently lost my hard earned second throne. I’m the big loser in our conflict so far with Pythium being the winner. But I my bad loss where stupid false horrors deprived me of my spoils. (BTW that is the WORST aspect of this game by far. If your team routes, any fatigued troops on battlefield should be considered defeated. It’s easily my biggest peeve of this game. I’d feel much better if I hadn’t lost gems/magic items b/c petrified commanders remained).
