Odd, I see three thrones that you control.
I just happened to have liberated one of them from you was just a lucky break on my part.

Is that what happened there? I need to get more scrying up.
Yeah, each of us still only has 3 thrones under our control. You happen to have claimed 3, and I have claimed only 2. I guess @wahoo only has claimed 1 so far.
But with his almost total control of the seas, and sailing (plus Air Queens) it wouldn’t take a whole lot for him to sail to at least 2 or 3 thrones he doesn’t control, and just take them. He just needs a big enough force to siege the tiny castles spread around.
Anyway, I just keep looking at the scores of both of you guys, and the fact that both of you seem to have a ton of powerful thugs/golems/angels flying around, and I think I’m just going to have a tough time pulling anything off. Especially with that gem count.
Do people need more time?
I need a little more time, but I should have it done tomorrow. Just need to setup a few last minute things.

I’ll need some time. That’s on me.
Okay, well, I can add more time to it.
It was my youngest birthday today.
My turn is in. Let me know if the turn is about to be extended further.
@wahoo, you doing okay? I noticed that you stalled again.

I’ve not looked at my turn.
It’s an interesting turn.

Do Vanarus troops finally unstealth, laughing as they toss back another alcoholic beverage at the absurdity of the joke that they were vanquished many months ago?

sorry. thought I had more time but had to deal with some family things.
Its okay for me, but you are leaving @dfs short handed. The guy needs your help, big time.

To Lego’s point, yeah. I don’t think I could prevent him from winning w/out some activity on Phaceaia’s part.
These games are supposed to be fun and I certainly don’t want anyone feeling like a whip is being cracked over their head. The game has slowed to a snails pace (largely because a lot of thought has to go into each turn.) I think we can all agree that staling just isn’t good.
Several years ago I set dominions down because I was at a place where I just couldn’t carve out the time that it demanded. I very much understand the burden one of these games can be. “Hurray! I made it to the end game.” quickly becomes “Oh Crap. Now I have to do end game turns.”
We should at least discuss moving forward.
Plan A. Agree in good faith that we will try and submit a turn a week and if/when that doesn’t happen we just extend till the turn is in. If that means the game slows down even more at least it’s continuing.
Plan B. Go forward as we are and accept that staling happens.
Plan C. Get a sub. I don’t like this solution, but it’s a solution.
Plan D. Call the game and declare a winner.
My preference goes down the list from A to D, but I think we should at least have the conversation.
All but B are acceptable to me. If I can win (I think I have the best chance of winning, less than 50%) I want to win fairly. And if I lose, I want to be the kingmaker of the game!

I’m going with A unless I hear otherwise. I’ll try and stay on top of the timer and not let it go off with a stale.

And on me…The time I had to do this turn was this evening and it’s gone. My next window will be Sunday. I will do my turn then.
Life intrudes. Kids birthday, work slamed, moving a non-profit on Saturday, social stuff Friday night.
That’s fine. I’ve been needing a bit of a break from Dominions. It was all-consuming for a while.

Sorry for slowing the game. I get about 75% through a turn adn then get swamped and misjudge the time. Life is a lot less hectice for most part. Quite frankly, I shouldn’t have started disciples given time for this game.
Life should be a lot smoother in near future for me till January.
And dfs that is exactly what I have going on where my night’s get chewed up and then had some tough family issues that weren’t foreseen.
