Did the game finally end?
No, it’s been on hold for the last 2 weeks. It seems someone keeps adding a day to it.
@dfs, @wahoo1, @wahoo, @Kelan ? Anyone know when the turn will finally be submited? I’m starting to lose track of my actual strategy.

I have been keeping up early each turn getting them in and trying to stay out of the way. I think we have been waiting on Phaeacia for a while now.

My last turn came in on March 10th. I sent my turn off on the 17th. It’s April 1st.
My understanding was that wahoo was taking on a new course of study or training and turns would be delayed. Looking through my e-mail repository we have executed five turns in three months.
Perhaps I’ve missed something, but I’m not convinced that there is a quick path to victory here. The score table show 3 roughly equal nations and I believe we each have 3 thrones and need 6. If someone were to clearly wrestle a throne away I have to believe that the “winner” of that battle would then face a 2V1 till a rough equilibrium was again achieved.
Accepting a draw doesn’t appeal to me.
Asking for a sub doesn’t appeal to me.
Playing it out at this pace doesn’t appeal to me.
I’m not sure that playing it out at a faster pace will achieve resolution in the next three months.
A vote doesn’t seem seemly, but it would relieve us of the duty of actually playing the game.
I’m open to suggestions about how we can get this one to conclusion.

Why not just have a champions battle. I’m sure you’re all at construction 8 and all mostly researched. Enact temporary peace. Choose two champions each faction. One champion each to fight the other two in a designated province. Last champion standing wins.
Eg: dfs would have one fight wahoo, one fight legowarrior. Same for legowarrrior and wahoo. Then who wins those moves to the next stage, should finish things quickly.
Well, I’m just about to take another Castle from Wahoo this turn. I think I’ve assassinated every leader in that castle, so I’m just waiting to complete that, so that I can keeping taking his castles away from him.
And of course, I have my newly formed Western Army punishing forth, while my Northern Army is keeping him main army occupied.
I kind of want to see what 80 or so wights can do in battle.
Also, I finally got that fort on lizardman territory, so I can pump out shamans to fight that freaking Mindhunt crap you all have been pulling on me. I’m looking forward to having a few of them in every army.

Ah. Your memory returned! And as always your plans are much better than mine.
Seriously, if it comes to deserves then I think it’s your game. You’ve certainly played the best of any of us against the stiffest resistance.
I very much want to hear what @wahoo thinks. If the game isn’t going to move forward then we should acknowledge that.
Honestly, though, I would not accept victory with where we are in the game currently. Or Defeat. I think I have a path to victory, but I don’t know what either of you have up your combined sleeves.
If we stop now, I would feel obliged to accept a draw, and I don’t want to accept a draw.
We can’t play without @wahoo1 (@wahoo) though, because this current game hinges on the 3 of us (plus @Kelan )

So I am continuing to submit turns. I believe my nation can still influence the outcome of the game. But I must admit I’m not having fun.
Continually getting warnings about imminent hosting that are not really imminent are tweaking my blood pressure. In the interest of relieving some small amount of stress, can we just set the timer to some very long time and say turns will get in when they get in? I don’t believe that I have been the source of delays in this game and promise I will not let the turns languish too long on my end.
I am fine with that. I have been trying to do better with getting my turn in, but no where near as good as @Kelan .
So, what are we doing with this game? half the players stalled this turn.

Well, I asked for time with the intention that I would be the third player and then …didn’t put up. I guess I thought it was set to quickhost when all the turns were in, but that may not be a setting anymore.
I have not looked at the new turn and would be amiable to a rollback.
Obviously I have mixed feelings about this one. I don’t want to give up on it, but I’m not really enjoying it either.
Honestly, I don’t see how it could on too much longer. I am stomping away in the North of @wahoo’s territory right now.

I agree. I don’t think my position is viable anymore. I think it’s time to declare Machaka the well deserved victor and end the game unless Pythium has something up their sleeve. I don’t have much left after my latest big loss.

Pythia has been ready to concede since the debacle at Dragon Pointe. Congratulations to Machaka.
Honestly, I am a bit surprised. I thought we had another few months of games in us.
Especially with that forces near my border. Both of you seemed to have a ton of troops and mages. And pushing into Pythium with his Scary Domain seemed like it would be rough.
But, Machaka will take the hard fought victory!
