I did Amazon super saver shipping and it estimates arrival on the 7th, but it will probably be earlier. It’s almost annoying because I wasted all last weekend on Torchlight, and since I have Friday off from work I was really hoping to get a day and a half to work on my house and car before it arrived on Saturday. Guess I’ll get some practice with my willpower.

I really wish Amazon would go ahead and mail this early. I might actually have some free time this week, and I have about 6 hours of sick time I am thinking of spending this week and the next to do some Dragon Age/Modern Warfare 2 gaming…and Tom’s gamer diaries have made me anxious to get into this with my Human Noble Warrior with a specialization in dual wielding!

UGH!! I have been looking all over Amazon for a contact email for these guys… how do I contact them?

That’s quite easy. I do it frequently. Look in the upper right hand corner of any of their pages, and it will say “help”. Click on that. In the resulting page, on the right hand column, there’s a yellow button with blue writing on it that says “Contact Us”. That’s what you need.

Looking at the wiki and the released information, it seems like there is room for a Dual Wielding Archer/Ranger type of character…but people who are playing would know better than I.

That dragon died WAY too easily!

boo stupid steam unlock date.

For anyone who bought from Steam and hasn’t pre-loaded yet, the option is now available. Total size of the pre-loaded folder is 13 gigs or so IIRC, so if you’re bandwidth limited you probably want to start ASAP. To pre-load just double click on it in your Steam games list.

Hoorah

Thanks for the tip preloading now

Nice. Are you now scheduled to receive it Wednesday the 4th?

Did you bribe them or something? My order from game.uk is apparently still being processed and the last update on the tracking info is from the 31st.

Perhaps thats where the discrepancy is? Maybe Matt & Idrisz just happen to be using blunt weapons or magical attacks and not doing slashing damage?

If you go to the Help section of Amazon you can click on Contact Us on the right hand side of the page for Express Help. From there you can cycle through your already placed orders and on the right side you’ll see an Email button under the Customer Service options. That’ll bring up a form where you can email customer service directly.

I had already scheduled it for one day shipping and the estimate was and is November 5th. Borderlands was a similar situation in that I had it scheduled for one day shipping and it was estimated to arrive on October 22nd, even though the game was to release on October 20th. The game ended up actually arriving on October 21st. I’m hoping Dragon Age will ship today and arrive tomorrow, but if it doesn’t, I really expect it to arrive on the 4th, not the 5th.

Woah. Wait, wait, wait. Tim James is getting a game on launch and I’m not? This suddenly feels like bizarro world. The world has been turned upside down. How many games a year do you buy at launch Tim? 2 or 3 at most? Why this one?

Also: Who will be getting through your backlog while you’re playing this?

Humm … no. When did you order yours?

I ordered my copy at the begining of this month. Last friday got an email that they had the copy on stock. Today got that one saying it has been sent to me.

I placed the order on the 8th of October, not sure why the delay. A possible explanation could be that it has to be shipped to germany and is thus being processed differently?

The Manual to hold you over.

shouldn’t be. I ordered mine later than the 8th, live in Switzerland, and my copy is already underway. Maybe it’s the different versions? Mine is the CE.

Good one!

Mine is the CE too and i ordered mine on the 9th.

Thank you!
