GameSpot gave the PC version 95, PS3 90, 360 an 85, so it rated them in that order.

The console versions are, frankly, gimped versions of the PC game, especially if you like tactical combat. If you’re more into dialogue/story-telling and find hard battles frustrating rather than fun, you may like the console versions better, since they contain the same dialogue/story-telling but easier, less tactical combat.

You don’t have to use skill points to unlock tactic slots - you can buy additional ones in that fashion, but your number will automatically also get increase for leveling up.

Sorry. Looking back at my post, I was unclear. Yes, you can cycle through your characters and give them a command. Attack, cast a spell, use an item. Once it resolves, the character reverts to AI unless you are still in control of that character. Also if one of the triggers of your AI Tactics settings gets tripped, they will revert to AI.

Sweet, that sounds much better.

I’m sitting here refreshing my UPS tracking page (“Out for delivery” as of 7:17 AM) so that I know the instant it gets delivered. I don’t remember the last game I was this excited for. Oblivion, maybe?

Man, I want hard battles! I just don’t have the option for the PC. Every time someone says this I cringe a little. Maybe playing on hard is the best option here!

Every character will get additional tactic slots at certain levels. The levels they get them at seem to be different for each character though.

Really? Virtually every RPG released recently has been skin= AP, boobs = str, anorexia = MP.

By comparison that armor doesn’t seem that bad. It helps that there never really was armor made for women in history, so there was never an evolution of armor styles to balance coverage vs. useful weight a women could reasonably bear. There is still a bit of wiggle room, and even the light armor isn’t that unrealistic from a late classical perspective.

I’m sorry, but once I see bare midriff I am out. “Better than a chainmail bikini” doesn’t mean that I’ll be happy to see it on my character. Luckily I should be able to just increase my strength and go with medium armor which I find much more aesthetically pleasing.
