I finally got around to watching the second episode on TiVo. Man, that was pretty bad. This show seems to want to be edgy for the sake of being edgy, and it doesn’t know when to back down for the sake of pacing or comedy. The whole episode was built around one joke. They really needed to cut out a bunch of the crap (like most of the musical bit) and put in a “B story” to break things up a bit.
I’ll leave my Season Pass intact for this and check out a few more episodes, because I think the concept has so much potential. But it’s off to a really uneven start.
