Question: if you bought the Steam version before, you can remove the game from your Steam folder and play without Steam, would the DLC coming out today work with this, or would I have to re-buy everything (I might just do that today if I have to)

BY MY WATCH, IT IS AUGUST 1ST. AND YET, I DO NOT SEE THE DLC!
First priority once expansion is available: simultaneously equip parachute pants and warhammer to unlock new achievement.
That one’s been in there since the achievement patch, I believe.

The patch is out with the two new weapons and other assorted fun.
The expansion is still crawling through Valve’s pipes somewhere, but we’re hoping it’s up shortly.
If you’re having save game problems, please grab the hotfix thread here (for PC only at this point) - so far the problem is just one rather uncommon item was misrenamed (which is totally a word) and therefore exploding everything.
Sweet, something to try out tonight after work.
And may I just say how awesome it is that QT3 gets direct updates into the game thread? No middleman here!

Hmm, mysterious crashes from interacting with ancient save-games. Sounds like a good reason to delete them all and start all new and exciting characters!

Know what pisses me off the most about this game? Those forges that improve equipment, except when they don’t!

God I could go on and on what an awesome expansion this is, but I’ll sound like a bumbling idiot, especially if I repeat something that was in before the update.
But I am a freaking crazy “Tourist”! But not just any tourist as I’m an Egyptian-Paranormal-Communist who dabbles in Potions, Tinkers with junk… and plays with Daggers!
… Resizable windows on the fly like inventory, the crafting button, POCKET UNIVERSE - best way to handle obsessive compulsive hoarders (me) in a game EVAR, fixed too many scones bouncing around, glacial burst trap now works >-YEA!, new blinding flash is nice, and it seems a fewe other tweaks to spells that just went plop, getting drunk, can’t wait to try out Wizarding Graffiti. “Samedi” is awesome, and a ton of other things. Why do I have to go away?! I want to play DofD for the next 80 hours straight :( I have so much stuff to craft!
I had this problem too, unfortunately one of my saves was a pretty good run qq. Oh well, I can just do it all again, I do play rogues after all, so I should be used to YASD, lol.
Maybe this will help:if you are having save game problems (I haven’t tried this yet myself because I’ve been playing the game with new saves.)
Oh I really did do what I said and just deleted all my ancient saves to make new characters. It IS a roguelike after all.
