BATTLE DAMAGE SALE!
In the flavor of D(DVG)-Day, we’re having a “Battle Damage” Sale. Sometimes games arrive from the printer with warped or creased boxes. The contents are fine, but the damage to the box makes them unsellable. If you’d like to purchase one of these games, place an order as normal.

When you Check-Out, enter the Coupon Code: 55894. Click the submit button, and you’ll see the 25% discount appear with your order’s financial information to the right.

We only have about 10 to 20 copies of each game with Battle Damage. If you do not see the Coupon Code on the Check-Out page, the offer has ended because all of the damaged games have already been claimed.

Dan, any chance of shots of the game in action/screenshots? Just seeing “card” pics doesn’t give me a feeling for 'em :)

There are 3 battle reports on the DVG site showing games in action with cards layed-out.

I guess so. When I first visited the product pages I had no idea, at a glance, if the games were card or PC. :)

I’m hoping for Frontline to launch a new series of games for us. If they end up porting to the computer world of games, that would be very cool.

New Rules Update!

Phantom is shaping-up to be a great Leader game. I’d say the best in the series so far. You’ll get far more strategy options in this game than ever before. Not only do you get to decide on Low Altitude or High Altitude strikes, close-range and long-range attacks, you also have new choices for your Special Options points. In past games, you could choose from different high-tech weapons. In Phantom, you still have the weapons to choose from, but there are campaign and mission altering choices, such as: Start of the campaign pilot promotions to give you a more experienced squadron, Tanker priority so you don’t have a Weight Point limitation on the mission, R&R priority to give your pilots a much needed break in the middle of the campaign, etc.

There are also little flavor bits. The BLU-1’s (napalm bombs) are a great example. Napalm is an effective weapon, but it also has a stigma attached to it. In the game, Napalm has some great attack numbers versus soft targets, but if you use it during a mission, you take a hit to your Political track, which will limit your future target choices.
