Yes. If you could do that. Fingers crossed!

See this is why I never post on these forums - all you guys are waaaaaaay smarter than me.
Toady has confirmed that mine carts can fly across a gap and land back on a track if the tracks line up. Hehe.
Was there really ever any doubt it would be so?

Yes? Most people would expect the cart to become airborne and continue to fly at ever increasing velocity until it killed the sun.
Throws away copy of Rollercoaster Tycoon
The book sounds fantastic, Calistas. Ever since the game progressed beyond your AAR guide, I’ve been hesitant to try to get into it again and have to learn some of the new and changed systems on my own. I hope it’s successful enough for you that you can afford the time of updating it regularly.
Thanks! Buy a million copies and I will update it weekly! ;)

New tileset that I don’t think has been mentioned before really changes the feel for me at least:

I think I like it, but the default background bluegrey color almost makes it too washed out. However, that’s from looking at the screenshots alone and not actually trying it out (tilesets seem to look way different to me when actually in use). Vherid has some great colorschemes in his ascii+ tileset, so the combo of to two I’m sure can come to a happy medium.
I’m looking forward to buying 1 copy first. What is O’Reilly’s ETA?
A sneak peek of one of the illustrations in my book and some comments on how it will be published. The story was told to us by one of the players via a thread on the Dwarf Fortress forums and illustrated by Tim Denee.
I can’t wait to preorder so I don’t have to check everyday anymore.
Feedback on reddit and the DF group on Facebook has been great. Feeling excited to see how it will do at launch!
Sweet! I’ve been looking forward to trying out the minecarts… however I doubt I’ll pick up DF again until I’ve burnt myself out on Diablo. :P
Minecart parabolic flight paths? Wow, I haven’t played in a while.
