I’m surprised EB doesn’t offer 12-month no-interest financing with an EB MasterCard to help people pay for these system bundles. I suppose it would be a Gamestop MasterCard since the buyout/merger, but I’m surprised they haven’t progressed to this point yet.

nah, they just push the game trade-in stuff HARD. The markup on used games is way more. ;)

That’s great. Spend $1200 and you still need to back to the store so that you can play games with a friend.

Yeah, but they could combine the MasterCard with their Gamer’s Edge card or what-have-you to give you built-in discounts on purchasing used games with their branded card, as well as getting extra trade-in value on your games. I’m telling you, this is going to happen within the next couple years, if not sooner. I’m predicting it right now.

Oh, and I’m also predicting such a card would have a horrendous APR in the range of 21-24%, but offer 12-month no-interest financing on purchases over $300. Just sayin’.
