Actually, they do. On the Macmillan site, they list the link as Kindle instead of Amazon. Thats probably why you missed it. Heres the link, its $2.99 there. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00IHCBE1C/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1270488014&tag=macmillan-20
There’s actually about seven pages worth of SF&F on discount in the current Kindle Deal of the Day. A lot of good stuff, too much to pick out.
Thank you. I received Way of Kings hardcover as a gift and it is next up on my to-read list, so having the electronic version will be good to have when I don’t feel like lugging the physical book along.

The books in the Southern Reach Trilogy ( The movie Annihilation was based off the first book ) is available individually for $2.99 each and can be bought as a set for $8.97 No additional savings for the set but it saves you clicks.
Awesome, been waiting on a sale on Lock In for a while, thanks!
Edith Grossman’s acclaimed translation of Don Quixote is on Amazon for $2.99. Grossman did the English translation of all of Garcia Marquez’s books, about which he famously said he preferred her translations of his book to the originals. I have this in door stopper form on my bookshelf but happy to have it as an ebook too.
Thanks. I haven’t read it since high school. I know I will get a lot more out of it now. I do remember laughing out loud at parts.
Riot Baby. Tor’s latest free ebook. Anyone heard of it?

Amazon emailed me saying that I get $5 off selected Tom Clancy titles which is really nice of them.
A day later, they sent a separate email giving me $5 off for just one specific book, Tom Clancy’s Debt of Honor.
What I didn’t expect was that both deals stack on top of each other, so I essentially get Debt of Honor for free! And that I could buy multiple Tom Clancy books in the list for $5 off each. Great deal!
I bet you guys are receiving similar emails offer. Just note that they stack if it’s the same book.
Yeah, I also got the email that I could get $5 off titles that they recommended in that email to me. Unfortunately, all but one of the “recommended” titles are books I already own from Google Books or free books from Tor.
There was one exception. Brandon Sanderson’s Starsight (which is apparently a sequel to Skyward). I’ve never heard of it. Is it good? Anyone here read it?

It’s Teen/YA sci-fantasy and quite good if that’s your thing, but it is very much that rather than his epic fantasy that you are probably more familiar with. (He actually writes a ton of YA, I assume as a break from the heavier stuff and to play with some quirkier ideas.) Second book in a trilogy that I think gets its finish next year, after the upcoming Stormlight book is out.
Yeah I’ve been getting these coupons in the mail too. Couple days ago I got a $5 off coupon for Ted Chiang’s ‘Exhalation’ which I bought because why not. Then because of my purchase, I got another email for $5 off ‘The Gone World’, which I’m not familiar with. Who knows what I might get if I buy that.
Thanks. I’ve only read one Sanderson novel, it was about a school for people who fight using drawings. I enjoyed it.
I haven’t read much YA, but I enjoyed, for example, Harry Potter, that’s YA right? And people say the Mass Effect series is like YA writing, and I really enjoyed that.
The only problem is, this book is pretty expensive even with with the $5 coupon. The first book is still $11, and the second book, with coupon is $6.
Harry Potter is actually shelved as Juvenile, or used to be. But yeah, I wouldn’t worry about it.
I’ve read most of Sanderson’s stuff and enjoyed Skyward and Starsght.
A belated “Thanks!” for the heads up on this, @rshetts. I picked up all three and am halfway through the second book so far. Highly recommend this series!
For those who missed the sale on the individual Effinger Budayeen novels, all three are available together right now for $2.99.
John M. Ford’s terrific Star Trek farce How Much for Just The Planet is $1:
No idea how long for.
Also, excellent deal on K. Arsenault Rivera’s fantastic Ascendent Trilogy ($3 for the lot):
Hey I’ve heard of that book! Never read it though, had to pick it up.
