Where is warmasters shack?

It’s kind of east of the Stormhill shack in the woods above the gaggle of trolls. I just stumbled on it today.

I’ve been waiting a few weeks (plenty of other things to play) and am now faced with what system to get this for. 3080, PS5 or XSX? Found one article saying ps5 was best back when it came out. How about now? I already know PC would involve modding fuckery for ultra wide. Thanks for opinions.

Digital Foundry has a video on the Next Gen consoles and has also talked about it a bunch of times on their weekly show. I think they leaned towards Xbox first, but only if you have a VRR TV. Otherwise PS5 using the PS4 executable. PC seems to experience lag issues, even with fairly high-end graphics cards the first time you visit areas. This matches what I’ve heard from other media outfits as well.

one thing that is not up to snuff is the loading times. They’re like 10 seconds too long! Hopefully they get that sorted somehow.

PC seems to experience lag issues, even with fairly high-end graphics cards the first time you visit areas.

I’m pretty convinced that a lower spec machine performs better as far as lag/stutter. I play on a 1060, another system plays on a 960, and CPU is well below min spec on both and while it obviously isn’t pumping out 60fps it isn’t having any issues.

Any tips for a sword and shield character to taking those trolls out?

Staying on Torrent just seems easiest, but I do enjoy taking them out on foot for the heck of it. They don’t have all that many attacks and they’re pretty well telegraphed so it’s easy enough to roll out of the way. You’ll probably get crunched a time or two until you learn which moves to avoid but they’re pretty easy overall.

BTW I still can’t find where to put “QT3” in for my game on my PS5. Or is that not a thing on the PlayStation network? Or maybe I’m blind lol.

Once in-game, hit the menu button (where you’d go to access your inventory). One of the options should be ‘multiplayer’. Go into that and on the right you will see an area for passwords - multiplayer and group. Hit ‘Y’ to edit these fields and put ‘qt3’ in one of the group slots.

I am also running with ‘SEEKERS’, ‘btf’, ‘straydmn’ and ‘FEXTRA’ as per recommendations from reddit.

When I need runes (plus get a rune stone) I help someone fight Radagon. I get 3-3.3k runes per fight plus a stone. I usually get 5-6 summons over 20 minutes. There are a lot of people playing this game.

This game allows for a little longer fall, even more so with the horse, but you can still die from gravity pretty easily.

Finally got the Hoarfrost Stomp ash, put it on my nightrider flail, and can confirm it is easy mode and very OP, the big trolls falls like in 2-3 stomps, and only cost 10FP per stomp.

Playing as Astrologer. So far astrologer is like easy mode, as long as you can get summons to attract the boss’s attention, you can just sit back and fire off all those nifty spells.

How are you whacking stuff from torrent? Do you lock the enemy? Or just run through them and slice, turn around, and run through slice again?

I rarely bother locking on for trash mobs when fighting on torrent, including the trolls. I just run through slicing and dicing and missing.

Heh, I’m still farming those trolls and I’m 49th level. For my low-dps build I’ve yet to find a better source of rune income for the time spent.

Without using stuff like gold-pickled fowl foot, I can get about 6-8K runes per minute using the super repetitive, but easy (no combat involved) boulder exploit.

This is one thing that is kind of counter intuitive… you think that if you fall a long way, but then do your double jump near the end, you’d be fine, since you slowed your fall.

But, nope.

It seems you die based on his long you were falling.

I feel like I can only get off 2 or 3 spells on bosses before they ignore the summons and head right for me. The sunmons buy me some time, but not a lot.

Though it could be because I haven’t levelled them up yet.
