I was really wondering why Latenna/the old man had the same “name” as those potbellied grey aliens.

I think I would like a DLC that consists of rooms of progressively harder fights. No exploring, no collecting crafting - just move from room to room fighting. Maybe leaderboards. I would like other more traditional DLC with new areas and enemies though too.

Open the multiplayer menu and set a password. If you have a password set you can only see summons signs of other players with the same password. You both have to be in the same location on the map. One of you uses the Tarnisheds Furled Finger to draw a summon sign and the other uses a Furlcalling Finger Remedy to see the sign and summon. Any shortcuts you unlock, doors open, and bosses beaten in coop only count in the host’s world. So you might have to do that stuff twice. You can’t ride a horse, summon ashy helpers, or rest at a point of grace in coop. And there are barriers you can’t cross, usually from one area to another or into a non-coopable location.

Well you can’t. But you’ll usually doubleteam them no problem.

They added a boss rush mode to Sekiro so it’s not out of the question.

You don’t avoid invaders. You either get invaded or you don’t. Just embrace it as part of the game.

I have been invaded only once, when I was helping someone with Gen Rad. There were three of us and he just sort of popped in, and we all fell on him. He did manage to get a few hits in, which was impressive, but in the end it wasn’t even a flask for me and we went on to victory. I almost feel bad for invaders in this game. They know the odds are stacked against them and they do it anyway. I wish you could pop the finger and get tossed into some random person’s world immediately anywhere on the map near them with level scaling. I’m interested to try it but the restrictions make me feel like it’s not worth the time.

I almost forgot about Sekiro’s DLC. I was so done with the game I never bothered. I wonder if Elden Ring will be the same, or if they’ll add new content to explore.

I haven’t gone back to it yet but after Elden Ring I probably will. I miss how tight its combat was. By comparison ER is quite sloppy and ponderous.

Here’s a really dumb question: How do you use emotes? Do you have to be in the menu to use them or is there a shortcut way to use them?

With the PS5 controller you can hold triangle and move the controller in a pattern. It tends only to work when you don’t want it to and lock you into an emote animation in the middle of a boss fight. You can disable that function from the settings.

While co-oping at Radagon I have seen several invaders. All but one were very over matched but one guy actually took out the other summon and the host.

Oleg and I just found out the hard way that “discard” will
A) Permanently delete an item
B) Doesn’t warn or ask to confirm

Guess I’m leveling up Mimic, Lhutel or Latenna instead, LOL. Maybe Engvall too.

I never played Sekiro. Combat was much faster paced, wasn’t it? That kinda scared me away.

The talisman, “Ritual Sword”, raises attack power when HP is at max. Is attack power only for hitting them with a sword? Or does that include spells as well?

I think it’s only attacks. I wouldn’t expect to effect skills (Ash of War) or spells (sorceries, incantations).

Ok thanks!

I remember hearing about this one. It does apparently affect everything, including weapon arts and spells, or did at the time I watched whatever video this was mentioned in.

Should be easy to test.

Heck I can probably test it quick, I’m not doing anything.

Edit: Works for sorceries.
Undamaged on test: 489
Damaged: 444

Edit2: Weapon art (Carian Grandeur full charge)
Undamaged: 2402
Damaged: 2184

awesome thanks! Curious what you discover.

I assume it works for everything since it works for Sorceries and Weapon Arts.

It’s just a flat 10% damage increase. Which makes it really strong imo.
