You know a game is going to be popular when you go to the official forums at 150AM a week before release and the time gap between the most recent post and the bottom of the page is 14 minutes.

;-)

Just imagine how much more popular it would be if it were an MMO.

I was holding off pre-ordering out of a general sense of cynicism about hype vs reality, one I still have really, plus an annoyance at how much it costs here, but who am I kidding. Pre-ordered.

If it does enough to engage me with its open-world exploration it will be worth every cent.

My only real hope right now is that all the tight trails and paths we’re seeing in the various gameplay trailers and videos are just a small portion of the outside world, otherwise it’s going to feel like a corridor shooter to me. I haven’t gone out of my way to watch the multitude of videos hitting the net, and have pretty much limited myself to the official releases, but damn, there’s a lot of trail walking in there, with only a couple small examples of wide open spaces, seemingly always and only during dragon fights.

PFFFAHAHAHAHAHAHA

See, I knew there was a way to wring info out of Matt.

I’ve successfully confirmed it’s like every Bethesda game ever made.

It’s already gone gold Matt, you can’t get a box quote anymore.

BLASPHEMY! Get him single player RPG fans!!! Get him!!

I’m holding out for the iOS port.

Even on ironic or sarcastic form, this phrase need to die.

Imagine if sprint runners run marathons, wooohooo, will run all races, since run very fast.

With my other hand I am sending a mail to the congress to classify mmorpg games as casinos. I have included a check with 450.000 $ to make sure it pass.

For $1.99 a copy of course

Given the batting record of every recent MMO that isn’t WoW, I’ll go with “not very.”

Just think how awesome it would be as “free to play” with integrated “premium purchase options”! They can have regular gold that drops from quests etc, and then Bethesda Points (which look like paper money in the form of a scroll) which make your gameplay experience more “smooth and convenient”

At least if it was on iOS, app switching would probably work, instead of crashing the game.

Fallout: New Vegas correctly handled alt-tab, I’d expect Skyrim to.

It feels like I’ve been seeing a lot of “&quot” lately - wtf is this supposed to be doing?

Failing copy and paste, I’m guessing.

I have a theory!

“testing”

Edit- Solved!

It must be a new quirk with Tapatalk when you put quotation marks around a word. I never noticed it before…

Yep I’m getting the same problem. I don’t recall a recent Tapatalk update, but I think I have it set to auto so maybe I just didn’t notice…
